Writing has been very helpful for me recently, and I've felt like sharing some scenes from media I absolutely love. So, here's a thread with my top 10 scenes of all time. **I'm including BIG spoilers in each entry, so be warned or avoid this if you'd like to be safe!**

The temple doesn’t seem to be as enshrouded in darkness, but some of the design decisions are just so good, man. The wooden wall paneling and tiling for the basement area are exactly like the grand historical homes I love to visit.

You'd think that writing a script on something you're extremely passionate about would be easy, but sometimes it really is the hardest thing. After talking to a friend, maybe I should just gush about the game. But I also want to examine it critically 😅 We'll get there.

No fucking way. I’m dreaming, right?
Hi everyone, how's it going? Honestly, I'm not doing well at all... Why, you ask...? Because the game our whole team had poured our hearts and souls into for about a year and a half was suddenly canceled...!! I mean, I lost my job overnight. Talk about a bolt from the blue... So I decided to make an announcement now. To see if anyone might be interested in working with us or investing in our projects. And here's the announcement. Actually, I started a company back in March of last year. It's a game studio specializing in video game design, direction, and narrative writing. (And... just between us, it's also a secret organization dedicated to protecting world peace.) The name is... "CRASH KEYS"!! crashkeys.com/ My original plan was to reveal CRASH KEYS when we announced our new game. That was supposed to happen next year... in 2027. But then came that whole "bolt from the blue" incident... So I ended up having to move things up and go public with it today instead. With that in mind, I would like to humbly ask you all for a favor... Please give us some work!! At this rate, our company might literally CRASH into a million pieces. My team and I may be forced to survive on nothing but cicada shells collected from a run-down park. So please, help us!! You're our only hope!! For work requests, investment proposals, words of encouragement, or invitations to Law of Attraction seminars, we would be very grateful if you could contact us using the "CONTACT" form on our official website: crashkeys.com/ Any support you could offer would mean the world to us. We sincerely look forward to hearing from you!

New video! With how many different stories and settings video games can create, you're never going to run out of unique worlds to experience. But what about video games that want to look inward and try to ask what it means to even be a video game? Link to the video below.

I finally saw Resident Evil this afternoon! Overall, I thought the film wonderfully captured the tension and beats of a Resident Evil game with that signature campiness. My main criticism comes with the final stretch, including some pacing issues and a rather abrupt ending.

**SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE (2/3)** I thought the audio recording scene was great and made me realize, "Oh shoot, Bryan's an NPC we learn about through notes." That's a super cool premise! The finale's execution, however, didn't feel satisfying to me.

**SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE (3/3)** I'll say a lot of the humor from Bryan worked for me. I laughed so hard at the scene where Bryan and the infected woman are just running in circles around the car like a game of tag. Like what if you had Ethan Winters but less capable? Amazing.

I found a picture of when I got my first Pokemon game! I could never remember how and when exactly I got it, but now I can know for sure it was a Christmas gift when I was 7. Life changing moment right here.

After watching the Ocarina of Time Remake trailer countless times, a few things caught my attention that were different from the older releases. Let's go ahead and review a handful of changes that range from small to potentially pretty big. Enjoy! youtu.be/456rbgQ4muQ

I’m doing some final checks, but hopefully I should have a new, shorter video out today on changes in the Ocarina of Time Remake! Next up should be the big analysis video I scripted last summer, which I finally returned to.

I feel this isn’t wise since the remake comes out in less than two months, but I kind of want to play the Ocarina of Time Randomizer again. It’s too much fun.

Okay, I finally got home and watched the Nintendo Direct. I did record myself, but I don't I have anything of substance to share. What I will say is that Metroid Ravenous looks sick as hell! Also, Shimmer is very funny. The Dirk theorist can finally give up their crusade!

Even more than MOMO, I've very interested to see how Shimmer's Hero Quest will play out. Like she was one of the biggest mysteries left unsolved from Xenoblade 3, so what's the explanation behind her appearance now? Very stoked to see what's her deal!

Okay, I am all caught up and... I'm so stoked for the Ocarina of Time Remake. I was worried about the graphical direction based on the preview, but, after seeing more, I'm sold on the game! I have a lot to praise and some critiques, so here's a thread on my complete thoughts:

Finally, the Megaton Hammer hitting these statues? SAUCELESS. The impact sounds great elsewhere, but it sounds like a bowling pin here. No shimmer on the debris either. -10 points off my final score. Unacceptable.

Overall, I'm incredibly excited! If you've never played Ocarina, please do. The game is magic, and I'm learning something new nearly 20 playthroughs later. I hope this game sells immensely well and shows Nintendo that there is a place for the classic 3D formula.
