Kavango Resources plc (LSE: KAV) announced the successful installation and commissioning of its 50 tonne-per-day Hillside gold processing plant in Zimbabwe, marking the transition from construction into live processing. Material sourced entirely from Kavango’s own operations has been fed through the crushing, milling, gravity and CIL circuits since early July, with average utilisation of 69% achieved during late July. Testing has confirmed successful gold adsorption while an on-site laboratory is now operational to optimise recoveries. The plant is intended as a proof-of-concept ahead of future expansion and supports development of the Hillside Gold Project, where Bill’s Luck hosts a JORC resource of almost 34,000 ounces grading 2.68g/t gold.

Commissioning has commenced at our 50tpd gold processing plant at the Hillside Project in Zimbabwe. Optimisation is underway, with 69% capacity utilisation achieved in July and gold successfully adsorbing in the CIL circuit.
