After tests I conclude- AI can't write fiction.
LLMs are good synopsis generators - however they can't:
Create long form stories
Maintain plot structure
Write convincing dialogue or stay in character.
Publishers who use LLMs to 'streamline' processes will see a drop in quality.

Parcel delivery firm DPD have replaced their customer service chat with an AI robot thing. It’s utterly useless at answering any queries, and when asked, it happily produced a poem about how terrible they are as a company. It also swore at me. 😂
