My dad’s been asking for this story for years. (Almost) everything you wanted to know about line changes but were too afraid to ask: seattletimes.com/sports/krak… – at Seattle, WA

Count me among those who think McCann was trying to keep the pair from falling through the open door and hurting themselves.
Scouting The Refs@ScoutingTheRefsOct 7

Happy home opener, and cat’s finally out of the bag - I’ve started working on our brand-new women’s sports beat. Please send ideas! Still checking in with the Kraken occasionally, but we’re moving away from daily coverage. seattletimes.com/inside-the-…

Women's sports are a big deal in Seattle, so we're launching a beat

Seattle is one of the few U.S. markets with teams from each of the three big women’s professional leagues. Kate Shefte is our lead reporter on the new beat.

If you stopped by Gasworks Brewing in Wallingford this summer, its minority owner probably poured your beer or bused your table. You might have even recognized him. For Kraken goalie Philipp Grubauer, beer is a connector between his homes: seattletimes.com/sports/krak…

Why Kraken goalie Philipp Grubauer has invested in 2 Seattle breweries

Philipp Grubauer’s future with the team is clouded. But that doesn’t mean Grubauer, a minority owner of two Seattle breweries, is going anywhere.
