I have struck mathematical gold with these ten puzzles from an Op Shop. Great timing as well as @nomad_penguin and I are co ducting professional learning sessions that have a focus on teaching mathematics through problem solving. I feel like my @questacon days are returning
Super excited about this special delivery. I had a lovely encounter with Karen Karp @icme_15 discussing mathematics and today , as promised I received a signed copy of the recent version of Elementary and Middle School Mathematics. Guess what I’ll be reading!
All ready for a parent workshop on supporting children at home in mathematics at a local primary school. Part of the workshop will be focusing on what do you notice? What do you wonder? I couldn’t help but doing some noticing and wondering myself about the seats!

The statistics of @icme_15 are in! This was my first ICME. It was great to present an aspect of my research and to connect will fellow mathematics educators across the world!
It is great to get further insights into the history of @icme_15 in the closing ceremony
Final plenary @icme15 by Prof Jason Sharples in the mathematics of fire. It was great to hear the many mathematical concepts that span from the primary to tertiary years and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives of fire.
The green carpet in the exhibition centre is bringing back vivid memories from primary school classrooms in Sydney. #australianeducation #primaryeducation @icme15
