🚨🚨We want to reiterate how dangerous it's going to be along our Pacific coastline this weekend. Rip currents & sneaker waves will pull the most experienced and capable swimmers and surfers out to sea. Never turn your back on the water & stay off jetties and rocks. CAwx
Increased risk of rip currents and sneaker waves expected with breaking waves up to 16 feet. Dangerous conditions are forecast along the shoreline. Stay off jetties, piers, rocks and other waterside infrastructure. NEVER turn your back on the ocean. #CAwx

Mill Valley is the whitest town in the Bay Area. When it tried to build its first fully affordable housing complex in three decades, a neighborhood group blocked it, arguing that the project would perpetuate segregation.

Incredible reporting: People are being held at SFO for a week or longer, with no access to attorneys, a bed or medical care. Some were driven in from other airports more than 100 miles away. Many are legal permanent residents. sfchronicle.com/politics/art…

SCOOP: Trump officials are pressuring the National Park Service to find a way to give a small piece of Yosemite to a private developer.
The land would be used for a road, to give the developer rare private access to the heart of the park.

One of the world's most brutal murderers is finally dead.
At 84 years old the former Bosnian Serb general, Ratko Mladić lived way longer than he allowed his tens of thousands of victims.
The more than 7000 Muslim men and boys he had slaughtered in Srebrenica will be his enduring shame.
At least he was tried by an International Criminal Tribunal and found guilty of his enormous crimes of genocide.
I am proud of the work we journalists did in the 90s to document his crimes against humanity, to finally hold him accountable.
