Can anyone recommend some good voice recognition software for use in a primary school- preferably low cost #voicerecognition #sen #dyslexia #dyslexiaawareness #inclusiveeducation
I’m slowly morphing into my mother! I’ve spent the day pottering in the garden, walking the dog and buying plants! A beautiful family day.
As a result of my tweet that #ActuallyAutistic people responded to, I’ve learnt so much and I’ve changed my training for tomorrow. I am going to read out 10 strategies you have given me and then we will discuss how we can make them a reality at our school #InclusiveEducation #ND

🌈 Belonging is a sense of acceptance & respect born out of inclusion. Every child deserves to belong. Let's teach them early on that in diversity there is beauty & strength 🐾💕 #DiversityandInclusion #belonging #acceptance #everychildmatters #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #love
Morning, I’m on day 4 of a headache. Days 1&2 were full on horrendous migraine. I’m doing a bit of CPD via twitter. I’m genuinely missing being at work and wondering how some of my lovely ND children are managing.
For those who are #ActuallyAutistic and/or have children who are. Tell me one thing I can do to help your child (or could have done to help you) feel happy at school. I will in turn share all these things with the staff at my school and become more inclusive as a result #ASD
Some days I am capable of intelligent debate, other days I forget to put the plug in before filling the bath #balance

As a school, we regularly select a pupil who needs ‘10% kinder’ from all staff - everyone makes the extra effort to be positive and warm for a young person having a hard time - we have really embraced this as a team, and it can make a huge difference for a child in a tough week.
We made it to Friday! A bit of sun makes everything seem better. Looking forward to a lovely weekend 😊
Team teach training today. Great course, great facilitators, just makes me so sad that there is a need for it. The children that get to this point have already had too many bad experiences, it feels cruel to add ‘restrained by my teachers’ to the list.
All my lovely clean washing smells of sh*t 😢 they’ve been muck spreading in the fields. Life’s too short to re wash everything so apologies in advance to those who have to get close to me! #ruralproblems
Completed my first days NPQH training in Bristol today. Great to meet new people and have time to reflect. #NPQH
Back from a wonderful week away in St Ives. Now to start the unpacking! It is beyond amazing to be back in my own bed and I can’t wait to collect my dog- missed her so much!
