“It feels freaking amazing!!” - possibly the best response to a post-game interview question I’ve ever received! The legend herself @VanitaKrouch responds to being crowned a three-time world champion of @IFAFMedia Flag Football 🥇🥇🥇

Terrible situation for the Eagles but questions must be asked about the link between flying long haul to London and Jalen Hurts’ blood clots. It will sideline him for the season now. 😬

My little girl was kicking around in my belly during the Australia game in week 1. She was born just after kickoff when the @49ers played the Dolphins in week 2. So far she not missed a game and the Niners are 5-0. Could Bella be the Super Bowl piece we were missing??!! 🎀

Great job @NBCSports putting @ZoraStephenson on the Finals! It’s refreshing to see a woman in the PxP chair. Too often women who spend years pouring into the women’s game are overlooked on big events for the same group of men who have name recognition due to working on the men’s side. USA Sports has also had Meghan and Kate on the playoffs which is AWESOME.
Glass Break: Zora Stephenson, Sarah Kustok, + sideline reporter Ashley ShahAhmadi will be the announce team for NBC Sports’ coverage of WNBA semis (Aces-Valkyries) and two games of Finals (which are split with USA, with latter games also on Peacock simulcast), @FOS has learned.

Of all the great shots I’ve seen of the new Highmark Stadium, I think this one tops them all. When I saw this camera angle of the inside of the stadium at the beginning of the broadcast last night, I was left speechless. I still can’t believe this is Buffalo, man 🤩😍 #BillsMafia | @NFLonPrime

Thank you @GolfAust and well said.
Good governance shapes every part of a golf club, from who has a voice in the boardroom to the decisions that shape its future. In a new op-ed, Golf Australia's Damien de Bohun reflects on recent events at Camberwell Golf Club, why governance matters to every club member, and the importance of modern, diverse leadership across Australian golf. On the Niners-Rams travel debate, the 🐐 has a good take.
“I don’t give a sh*t if you show up five minutes before the game…..play good football.” @TomBrady is giving his honest take on handling long travel before games.

Gee I’m sure the Rams’ marketing team, who have invested a lot over the past few years in Australia, love to hear this. Seems to be a massive disconnect between playing team/coach and business/ownership at the organisation. 😬
"We're not playing in Australia ever again... I hope." 😂 Sean McVay is moving on from the Rams Week 1 loss - and likes the way the team is preparing ahead of their Monday night match-up against the NY Giants. #RamsHouse | @CBSLosAngeles

This is part of the tricky position for the franchise. They have done a heap of work here in the last few years, but really, where it matters for people is game week. Show up, be present, play hard. That's the opportunity. Be here and lose is forgiveable. Turn up 24 hours out, stink, then say hopefully never again? That ain't it. And clearly playing side and ownership side are not on the same page.
“Not because it wasn’t a great atmosphere. That will get taken out of context.” 😬 Rams coach Sean McVay says the Rams are going to do the ‘Men in Black thing’ and try to forget about their loss to the 49ers. #NFL

49ers GM John Lynch glowed about the coffee and dining scene in Melbourne. On Melburnians: "California vibe with Midwest niceness. And they're 49er fans. Most of all, they're just real good people."

Agree it’s always way easier adjusting to the flight FROM Australia TO the US - whereas the US->Aus leg messes me up for days (another reason the Rams plan was so crazy)

Agreed. Just do your job. Gregg Popovich did this notoriously. What you need to know: Sideline reporters work an entire week preceding a game, compiling meticulous notes, for any given situation that may occur. It is a thankless position, but they are involved in every meeting - in some cases, more meetings than anybody else on the broadcast. They have separate conversations with players and coaches, in order to have different angles and layers to the storyline on that particular week. Ready for any twist or turn that may occur. They save every notebook over their career. And could write a book on each game they cover. They have very limited time to orchestrate on camera interviews and reports. It is an art and a science. Which is why people like Holly are so good at their craft.
Stephen A. Smith and Paul Finebaum were not impressed with Steve Sarkisian skipping out on Holly Rowe's postgame interview. "There's nobody better in the industry, and he treated her like trash."

Andy Reid will always be one of my all-time favorite coaches - his level of respect for reporters is a joy. He keeps it light. He shows respect. Coaches around the sports world should take notice on how it’s done. He’s a future HOFer.
