Coinkite Legal Update We had a productive strategy call today with Canadian counsel and wanted to share where things currently stand. At this point, we’re leaning away from a traditional class action and toward a private Canadian lawsuit brought by a group of larger claimants. The thinking is that assembling approximately 10–30 claimants representing a significant portion of the losses may provide a more focused and efficient path than pursuing class certification. We’re now working to identify the right Canadian litigation firm and finalize a preliminary budget. Once we have both, we’ll share them with the claimant group. The legal theories under review include product liability and negligence, but the larger question is ultimately collectability, not liability. Early priorities would be getting the case into discovery, understanding what assets may be available, identifying any applicable insurance, and determining whether there were transfers or distributions that could potentially be challenged if supported by the facts. If litigation funding is required, our expectation is that affected victims would have the first opportunity to participate before seeking outside capital. This is an evolving strategy—not a final decision—and we’ll continue sharing updates as we receive them.
