I agree! My argument had nothing to do with that title or the general public. My argument is that he’s a good head coach. He’s not this amazing top-tier coach, but he’s a good coach.

You said he’s never had top offense and then bring up avg offense rankings. Also, Zimmer (who I love) had better QB play then KOC. I’d rather have Teddy, Keenum, and Kirk, then JJ McCarthy last year, Josh Dobbs, and Nick Mullens.

I mean the offense both times he went 14-3 id say we’re top offenses. I don’t think he’s better than Ben Johnson but I do think he’s a solid HC.

I’ll die on this hill, KOC is better than Ben Johnson, just can’t land a good QB. Only thing stopping KOC system is the QB. Give him a fresh #1 overall pick and he’d do the same things.

How bad must J.J. McCarthy have looked if Murray beat him out? Seriously? O’Connell knows how to coach a quarterback, he knows what it takes, and he chose Murray over McCarthy. Does not make sense from my viewpoint.

Vikes can't start Wentz unless Kyler's hammy is a thing. Wentz is bad. They can't win with Wentz. KOC has to figure out how to get Kyler comfortable in this offense. He has a good body of work. This is on the coach.

I think we can all agree with the Vikings offense being this bad this season it is a combination of everything. Kyler Murray is playing below average. Kevin O'Connell has been figured out as a play caller and has zero confidence. The offensive line has been up and down at best. A significant change needs to be made, but I don't think making a QB change should be that move. Go get Jonathan Taylor and if Kevin O'Connell & Kyler Murray can't figure it out with a top 5 RB and the best WR in football then they both will be let go after the season.

FINAL // Lions 19, Vikings 15. The offense was nowhere near good enough. It hasn't been for a long time. The defense did everything it could for three quarters. Lost TOP, found itself on the field for a long time. Tough loss. Lots of Qs to be asked. Record is 6-1.
