Y’all the lady @FairfieldHotels just called the police on me because I’ve been here for a week and they haven’t cleaned my room. I’ve asked everyday and they never came. I went to ask again and she said I was aggressive. Please pray I don’t die. Can anyone @MarriottBonvoy help 🥺
Yes, it's warm. Yes you can safely distance outside if you're careful. But please for the love of God, don't go walking down a narrow boardwalk in a group of 25 people without masks and stand inches away from other hikers acting like everything's OK.
Salamanders are on the move. Anyone know if these are Jefferson, Blue-spotted, one of each, or hybrids?

Just want to apologize to any women I may have inadvertently disrespected or made uncomfortable in the past while birding/hiking/camping etc. I can think of at least a few instances I'm not so proud of...
This is from a few years ago but I think I was technically a scientist by then. Been a while since I've done much art #MonumentValley #ScientistsWhoArt
This wood thrush fledgling was found yesterday on the ground under a 15-m high nest. Be careful not to step on baby birds when walking through the forest this time of year, and please keep your dog on a leash!

Mama #nightjars are FEARLESS. We borrow chicks briefly for measuring, but this whippoorwill mom was NOT having it. She followed us and flew at my face repeatedly to defend her chicks. Sound on!
(If you see a nightjar doing this, LEAVE—you might step on the chicks!) #ornithology
