The NFL investigation:
The NFL has concluded that the process surrounding Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts being cleared to play in Week 5 with a superficial blood clot “was handled appropriately,” a league source tells @TheAthletic nytimes.com/athletic/7708077…
The erasure of the right of way on sidewalks for people is my biggest beef with these robots.
Police in Philadelphia arrested a 78-year-old woman for protesting an Uber Eats delivery robot by standing in its way. Cops charged her with disorderly conduct just for standing in front of a robot on a public sidewalk.
Carolyn Marvin is a retired communications professor who spent decades teaching freedom of expression at the University of Pennsylvania. She said she specifically keeps the sidewalk open and fully accessible for human pedestrians, and that her actions only target the autonomous vehicle.
Marvin has been blocking delivery robots for months to protest the replacement of human delivery workers. She considers her actions to be protected by the First Amendment.
Actually cannot believe what I've read here.
The police shooting that killed 1-year-old Kohen Wiley as he sat in his mother’s lap in a Walmart parking lot in Senatobia in June “was justified,” Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s office says.

When you're in that situation you can make that decision for yourself, but judging someone else for their decision is diabolical. I've had enough surgeries and hospital stays to know I would almost definitely amputate.
Sorry to anyone at the Navy Yard who was hoping to use @RideIndego I took the last one. Even the bike I rode down with a dead battery (also the only bike available at that station) was gone.

Encouraging seniors to "age in place" has been among the most disastrous economic policies of the last 50yrs. It's a big factor in the housing crisis.
Cities should urgently build more 55+ communities. Boomers should get tax breaks for DOWNSIZING, not for staying in their homes!
I don't know what it is about the Logan Circle but it brings out some wild road rage. Everyone driving like it's a game of Super Mario Kart.
The med staff when Jalen landed back in Philly:
Why are we even giving these selfish losers a platform?
“I’m old. I’ve paid my home off,” said Ray Warner, a 72-year-old Akron resident. “Why would I pay property tax?”
Across the country, homeowners are asking the same question and revolting against property taxes at a scale not seen in a half century.

End of an era. The Phillies Daycare mural (last photo) on the side of Garage in Fishtown has come down and a new mural is being put up as we speak
I talked to the artist Liam who showed me what the new mural is going to be, and I think people will be excited about it. Should be done by the end of the week, progress pics to come🏀🌃
