It's been a while I posted here, so let me reintroduce myself
I am Oyinkansola, a front end developer helping service based businesses attract customers with well engineered websites. I also share personal insights from God's word.
I am also learning about car dealerships.
"Never let the quest for more distract you from the beauty of now. The good life isn't waiting at the finish line, but at the arrival, because it was never there anyway".
A beautiful read from @SahilBloom! Worth your time.

Prayer is not only a way for you to ask God to do things for you. It is also a way to communicate with Him, asking Him questions that bother your heart.
God doesn't only what to hear your complaints, he wants to hear your questions as well, let's learn to key into this.
Today, I learnt how to Implement Google authentication with Supabase, and used it for my invoice management application, with good amount of help from AI
What I got done today as a software engineer:
1. Joined standup and gave my updates
2. Built an onboarding flow for an EdTech platform
3. Integrated a payment system for a paid feature
4. Fixed bugs and helped other developers on the team
5. Still showed up on all my socials
A productive day of building, debugging, shipping, and showing up.
What did you get done today?
Day 38 of building an invoice management app.
I am building on top of what I have built already with this application, adding more functionaliy to it.
Today, I worked on adding authentication with Google, thanks to @supabase and help from AI.
How's the splash screen?
Being a while I posted here, well hi there 😂👋
As a developer, you should know that validating an input field as the user types is very annoying. No one wants to see red lines when they haven't even finished typing
I wrote an article about this

Please don’t become so focused on getting your life together that you forget to enjoy the life you currently have.
Take the pictures. Eat the nice meal. Go outside. Celebrate small wins.
There will always be another thing to fix.
Happy new month everyone. It's been quite a while I have been active, working on gradually getting back to sharing things online.
I want to continue improving my invoice application project as I said before, adding authentication to it, let's see how it goes.
This is so true. It's all about making that intentional time to be with God
Following God is not easy, there will be times when the odds will be so stacked against you, that you wonder if your life even makes sense
I urge you to remember Abraham, against all hope, he still believed, and God brought a nation out of him.
God is in control.
Good morning
Seems like I won't leave this project alone yet 😂.
This week, I want learn and add authentication, so no random person just comes to create invoices with my application. Each invoice has a place they live, i.e the users account.
Looking forward to it!
One thing I have learnt in my walk with God is that God doesn't call perfect people. He often calls the unqualified, the ones that don't even look like the assignment he is giving them (e.g. Moses)
Grace shows in unexpected places. Let's work on ourselves, God bless you.
Don't ever think you aren't good enough for God. Have the mindset that God valued you, and wants a relationship with you.
His word says that "even the least in the Kingdom is important".
God wants to relate with you, you only need to draw close to him (James 4:8)
As believers and human beings, we need to understand humility will take us far in life. To be honest, pride cannot take you anywhere.
You are where you are today by God's grace and mercy, God will resist those that are proud and give grace to the Humble.
Happy Sunday 📖.
Day 37 of building an invoice management app.
Today, I worked on the last 2 features to complete the MVP of my invoice management application!.
I can now delete an invoice, as well as create an invoice as a draft.
I am finally done with building the MVP of my invoice management application!. This was such a journey, and I am glad with how far I have come and the things I have learnt.
Will share more insights about it later in the night,
Day 36 of building an invoice management app.
Today, I worked on the feature to filter the invoice statuses, so the view changes, depending on the status I want to see.
This taught me how to manipulate my view without affecting the state of my application
Day 35 of building an invoice management app.
Today, I worked on the ability to mark an invoice as paid. I love the fact that this application is beginning to take shape, it's beatiful when what you build starts coming together
Day 34 of building an invoice management app
I finished working on the edit invoice functionality today, a good way to start the month, and have also done the mobile responsiveness of the page.
Next is to make it possible to change the status of an invoice
Good morning everyone. It's the end of the month. God has made us see this last day of July 2026. Be sure to analyze how this month went, and see where you can make improvements.
This year is remaining 5 months 😱, 2026 is drawing to a close
