Loved being at the Community Development Block Grant Awards Luncheon recently to celebrate the projects & communities that make our state the best place to live, work & play. I'm looking forward to the completion of these projects & the impact they'll have on our great state.

I was honored to celebrate some amazing Kansans last Thursday during the Governor’s Arts Awards. #KS is a state on the rise, & the arts play a crucial role in this growth. Congratulations to all for recognition that's well-deserved, & thank you for all you've done for Kansas.

Great to meet with the dedicated Kansans that traveled from all over our great state to represent @UnitedWay of #KS during their day at the Capitol. As we work to make #KS the best place to work, live & play, it's organizations like our United Ways that help us reach that goal.

Visiting with the new cohort of rural champions was fantastic. These driven individuals are committed to making transformative changes in rural communities throughout the state.

I can always count on having a fantastic lunch and thoughtful discussion when I get to see my neighbors from Southeast Kansas for SEK, Inc. Day on the Hill. This region is seeing momentum, and we are proud to be a partner in their continued success.

Excited to cut the ribbon on the historic Brandt House in Alma last Friday. A vacant space for more than 30 years, this new boutique hotel will now bring new opportunities and growth to Alma.

Honored to join @GovLauraKelly in Sabetha last week to congratulate @KSiEdge on their well-deserved recognition as the Governor’s Exporter of the Year. KSi has been accomplishing big things from the start, & I’m looking forward to see how they’ll grow as an exporting powerhouse.

While the @Chiefs had a great season, the Eagles won the Super Bowl & I congratulate them. I'm a man of my word, @LGAustinDavis, & I'll be sending over some of Kansas' best with Russell Stover candy from my hometown of Iola & handcrafted beer from Irrigation Ales in Courtland.

Full house with this fantastic group of young professionals during their day at the Capitol! Engaging with Kansans early in their careers is important in ensuring that they feel encouraged to not only stay in #KS, but be empowered to bring change to their communities & our state.
