I made this infographic to show that you can't really ascribe religious or cultural explanations for why certain regions fall behind on human capital development. All the Muslim Central Asian countries and Iran are at 99-100% youth literacy.
Iran and the Islamic revolutionaries invested aggressively in expanding educational opportunities to its entire population (including a large portion of which were nomadic herders).
The Soviet revolutionaries in Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan also invested aggressively in expanding educational opportunities to the entire population (which also included a large number of nomadic herders).
There are zero religious and cultural explanations for why Pakistan is lagging on this front other that its feudal elites monopolize a large share of its fiscal resources for its pet projects.
Taliban controlled Afghanistan should really be the only exception.

Kalaburagi is a Kannada city like Bengaluru. And people of Kalaburagi have Bengaluru as their de facto and de jure capital. Karnataka should decide how and where it spends its money.
This is only a Bengaluru problem btw and we need to save it from further dilution. Bengaluru Kannada dialect needs to thrive not vanish or get extremely diluted.
