And what is the explanation for 5 minutes stoppage time? Of course other than PGMOL wanting the result to stand. Haaland scored his goal at 59:27 and Oliver points for a goal at 62:05. See video below. That is a 2 minutes and 38 second delay for the VAR review. Would only 2 minutes been added if the goal was not scored? I think everyone who saw the game agrees that there was an — extreme — amount of delay and time wasting in the 2nd half. I don’t think anyone even could try to argue that 2 minutes added time besides the VAR review was decided for any other reason than Oliver and the 4th ref wanting the stoppage time to be 4-5 minutes shorter than it should have been. And why wouldn’t they want to decide the game against United? He has done it so many times before — and still gets to call all these match-ups and he gets the top games despite numerous extremely questionable calls. But nothing will happen because everyone is fine with individual refs doing what they please on the pitch.

No wonder the BBC is fucking banned in China. They can straight up USE CHINESE MEDIA FOOTAGE, and claim that CHINESE MEDIA is hiding the news. What a fucking joke.

During the Hull City set piece that led to their first goal, Harry Maguire was seen holding Mazraoui instead of tracking the Hull player. Then, as Lammens made the save, Mazraoui tried to track the eventual scorer, but Maguire appeared to hold him back again.

Blatant match fixing is destroying football. VAR worked so well in the 2018 World Cup but since then it has been misused for match fixing. Something needs to be done before these corrupt bastards kill the game completely.

After what we just witnessed today, we already know that FIFA will make sure he gets a yellow and miss the potential semi final against Argentina

If VAR had gone any further back in that Egyptian move Tutankhamun would be involved. How far do you go back? Probably right decision but what a pity, what a goal that would have been. 80 yards, majestic move, precise passing, would have been one of the goals of the tournament,

The level of corruption in this World Cup and the last World Cup is just sickening. I've never seen a team so favoured by FIFA and the refs like Argentina. A penalty in nearly every game and goals against them ruled out constantly. This is just a joke.

France 2026 feels a lot like Brazil 2002. Mbappe, Olise and Dembele are looking very similar to the three Rs for Brazil 2002. They look way ahead of everybody else right now, like when Brazil won the World Cup in 2002.

FIFA has revoked the entire ticket allocation for Iranian fans for all of Iran’s three group-stage matches at the 2026 World Cup. BOYCOTT FIFA!

If Iran wanted to inflict harm on the US in the past, all they had to do was shut down the Strait of Hormuz - they didn't need a nuclear weapon. The fact that they never did it - until we and Israel bombed them - clearly shows they weren't a threat. We are run by idiots.

Notice how quickly all that bullshit about liberating Iranians disappeared, and now it's all about bombing them back to the Stone Age, destroying their bridges and universities, poisoning their air and water, and stealing their oil.
