Şu an itibarıyla hayatım tehdit altında. Devletten başka beni koruyacak bir merci, halktan başka da bir dayanağım yok. 20.10.2026 Av. Afşin Hatipoğlu

My old tweet on this remains evergreen:
Remember: Game designers in the 80s and 90s were computer science majors who loved literature, classic fantasy and AD&D. There is a very obvious reason the AAA market had been declining for so long. I don't need to spell it out.

Hey guys, I’m going to say this gently, uh, Elizabeth Holmes is a master manipulator. And the fact that y’all are coming out and saying: “well actually, Fielder and Seyfried are just as duplicitous,” is proving even more that the movie worked. Because the film is a showcase of how scammers work and how even when all the evidence is pointed against them, they can somehow still get by, to the point where even Fielder was compromised. And the fact that some of y’all are willfully ignoring that to invent this falsified reality just reinforces how effective the scam is
Replying to @SarahMeyohas
Agreed 💯 And the ones who are going to really benefit from this are Fielder and Seyfried who come off as more duplicitous themselves… and the last shot of the movie is Holmes with her kids who will not get anything good out of this. And the last blurb of the movie (it’s not a documentary) seems like Fielder having the last laugh on Evans

Explaining tearfully to young people that at one point there was an event called “E3” where publishers would be forced to get up and defend their games TO THEIR AUDIENCES and that this was killed and forcibly replaced by “award shows” where publishers give themselves medals.

Hey @ZohranKMamdani and @FDNY, you see this? Title 29 FC 906.6 — extinguishers shall not be obstructed or obscured from view — and FC 901.6.3.1 adds that cabinets holding firefighting equipment shall not be obstructed from use or obscured from view.

Hiding a fire extinguisher is a hilariously bad idea. And someone thinking it’s a great design perfectly encapsulates the mindset of most Apple cultists when it comes to anything Apple does

The Apple Store on 5th Ave is filled with incredible details. This perfect little door keeps the fire extinguisher hidden.

The World of Warcraft community goes for YEARS asking for an open communication and more transparency from devs and when they finally have that they bully and death threat the dev's family to a point where he closes said communication channel Oh yeah, very well done. Congrats.

I'm seeing a lot of discourse about who WoW Forever is being made for and while I cannot speak for anyone else on the team I can speak for myself. I am making WoW forever for the classic gamer and for the millions of people who have had their accounts lapse over the years because they were not satisfied with changes that were made to the game. Whether those changes were to the art style, the story, social aspects, game design, or changes to their favorite class. I did not spend the last year of my life relearning and mastering how to do things like we did it 20+ years ago for retail players. I could have taken it easy and just kept doing things like I had done for the past 8 years on retail...because I was much more familiar with it and it actually takes a lot less time to do (height maps on textures do a ton of heavy lifting). Because the reality is that the majority of retail players wouldn't care and would probably actually prefer it. But I felt I had a duty to uphold an artistic vision and integrity that millions of people expect from us. But not just for our players, but for my co-workers past and present who worked on it over 20 years ago. If I could not create something that resembled their work then I failed not only them...but myself. Please do not take this as me throwing any shade at retail players or the retail team because I am one myself...but I wanted to make Forever as authentic of a Vanilla experience as possible. This involves making decisions wildly different than retail. It means holding the line against changes that create a domino affect down the road. It means keeping friction and inconveniences in the game. It means finding friends and forming groups with strangers and being social!! Because WoWs social aspects have always been the pillar of the game and over the years it has slowly been chiseled away at with changes that allow you play alone. Since the day I started working on the Riverglades I have lived by three sayings. "Convenience is the death of the journey." "If you're making a game for everyone then you're making it for no one." "Every change we make incurs a debt to the authenticity of the game and sooner or later that debt will be paid." These are my core beliefs and I had a specific group of people I was targeting with my work. These beliefs cannot be shaken and I will try to hold the line against anything that goes against them and will continue to pester the team about things that feel out of place. That being said, my hope is that Forever will pull in as many people as possible, whether you are a retail gamer, a classic gamer, someone who hasn't played in years, or even a new player. I hope you can all remember what made this game so special in the first place and that starts with understanding why we are so passionate about keeping it authentic.

dungeon LFG is a HARD no. Even the LFG as its in the game currently is a huge overreach by the devs. I appreciate this seems like a small QoL request when you do not know the consequences,- but Vanilla excels at giving people a reason to talk and meet eachother- and that 'inconvenience' is one of its greatest strengths. Its something retail players who can normally skip that do not realize. in fact, this "small QoL" of yours is largely considered THE turning point where WoW turned into retail in the past.
If you say ‘just play retail’ you are missing the point The UI for group finder in WoW Forever is pretty bad, so this is a small QoL improvement No one is talking about teleporting to dungeons etc. Plus the social interaction from making a group is not existent it’s just some one whispering you INV with their level and class 😂 I think small QoL changes for WoWF are good, as long as it doesn’t fundamentally change the experience

I feel like I'm losing my marbles here Holly called it Classic + on stage. They called SoD a test run for it. They teased it by putting plusses on that pdf thing, then later Holly teased it by saying "All classic players have a lot to look forward to- I'll save that for later". They referenced the Classic+ community survey in the reveal. They invited exclusively classic streamers to come test it. They called it a forever home for classic players. (Where do you think the Forever comes from) They said they would develop the game in a way that honors classic. They showed a clip on stage of Xaryu saying nobody can agree on what classic + should be. A wow 2 even just being built on the 2004 version of the game rather than just doing it with a world revamp on retail would be odd on its own. Guys how are some of you still coping your way into arguing this is not classic +. I have no idea what possibly could convince you at that point.
There seems to be a lot of people who in good faith think wow forever is a random new version of wow and classic + is just one thing one group of people want it to be. I'm just kind of confused how that happened. Holly literally called it classic + in the reveal.
