Space heaters can save the day in winter—but misuse causes thousands of fires yearly! 🔥 Picture cozy evenings by the fire, yet it only takes a moment of distraction for danger to strike. Stay warm, stay safe, and keep a watchful eye! 🏠✨
Lest we forget
Today, we honor the brave veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice. Kamloops Fire Rescue stands in remembrance, reflecting on their courage and commitment. Let us carry their legacy forward with gratitude.

Less than 48 hours after it was launched, a new FireSmart rebate program in #Kamloops has been frozen.
Why?
It's too successful!
The program, offering up to $800 per household, is funded by the city's Climate Action Reserve.
The City of Kamloops Fuel Reduction rebate is live! If you've got cedars within 5 meters of your home, we'll pay you to get rid of them. Offered to the entire city, go to kamloops.ca and book your free FireSmart assessment to get started!
