During the fragile truce in February 2025, kindergartens in Gaza tried to reopen despite the destruction around them.
Anas Al Sharif and his little daughter Sham waited for the bus, both eager for life and knowledge, but that hope was soon shattered. Israel killed Anas and destroyed the kindergarten again, leaving Sham alone, without her father and with nowhere to turn for hope or a future.

Palestinian statehood is not a bargaining chip.
It is not a threat.
It is an inalienable right of the Palestinian people.
Our demands on this shameful government remain the same: end all arms sales to Israel, impose widespread sanctions, and stop the genocide, now.
Today, I pause to remember Hussain ibn Ali - a man who has profoundly impacted my life.
I reflect on his unwavering commitment to justice, his ultimate stand against oppression and his profound teachings.
His story is one of a kind.

“Red Letter Christians & artist @KLICONS created the "Christ in the Rubble" icon illustrating that if Jesus was born today, he would be born "under the rubble." How do we create a world where a poor, homeless, refugee, Palestinian Jesus would be cherished had he been born today?
