Pro-lifers don't like complexity. At 17 weeks my placenta detached and he was much too small. I thought I felt my baby's frantic attempts to breathe. My OBGYN advised me to terminate the pregnancy, there wasn't much time. But I couldn't.

When the last spell book resurfaces in a sleepy university town an ancient evil swoops in like a vulture to seize it. All that stands in its way are three students and a strange cat with pink paws. Magical mishaps abound as academia and the arcane collide. #YA #LGBTQ #PitDark 🪄

A collage of pictures surrounds a young woman and man who are staring towards each other, separated by a snapshot of them embracing in the woods. Above, a micro-house sits in the middle of a lonely forest and an old, gold-tinted plane points towards the horizon. Below, a cozy tent in the wilderness is crowded on one side by a sterile government installation and, on the other, by a desolate train track, leading nowhere. Black-and-white pictures of government agents loom at the outer edges. One reaches for a gun.
