It's the exact movie I wanted it to be. Colorful, campy &cheesy, w/ a likable cast and lots of nostalgia and video game Easter eggs crammed in. One thing that is abundantly clear, is that there's a lot of love for the source material
The film intentionally sets itself up for a sequel, and I hope to see the gang return with the same spirit of the game and a couple wrinkles ironed out. Also, more of that @CodyRhodes please!

This might be one of the best movies I have ever seen, just for the sheer audacity and creativity of Nathan Fielder's mind.
Hard questions are asked and one Hollywood actress' involvement remains the film's best kept secret. It's a documentary that feels like a psychological thriller at times, intercut with Fielder's signature humor, and an absolutely absorbing descent into madness and manipulation.
It's one of the most ambitious documentaries ever made and I have no idea how the award season will treat it, but Nathan Fielder reaches peak creative achievement with this one.
