I'll be attending #Gamescom2026 in Köln, Germany, on the 27th of August. Find me in the B2B area between 10:00 - 20:00. Let's have a chat about books, videogames & all things in-between. If you're a game industry professional, I'd love to compare notes! Hope to see you there!🧡

7) JUMP INTO THE ABYSS! (8/11) - horror short-story of a man who gets buried alive over the festering remains of his dead wife - inspired by Dante's Inferno, it very nearly reads like a poem. - financially, it bombed, but it taught me how to perfect the "rhyming prose" technique

8) THE UNDERWORLD RHAPSODY (9/11) - psychedelic novella & one of my most "explicitly Jungian" stories to date - it deals with drug-induced "states of altered consciousness" & existentialism. - this story immortalized me as an "oddball writer" but it's still close to my heart.

2) UNFINISHED VIDEOGAMES (3/11) - in my teen years, I coded a lot of crappy videogames in C++ (& some in Pascal) as part of my high school curriculum. - one was an early prototype of a "point & click" LucasArts-style game about a man who could push his physical pain into others.

I wasn't always a full time #author with several successful books in print. (1/11) Truth be told, I failed 100x more than I succeeded. But some of the projects I worked on have paved the way to the artist & writer I am today. Here's a quick timeline of some of my projects:

1) VIVIAN AMBERVILLE early concept (2/11) - my epic dark fantasy series (the books that started my career as a professional writer) was imagined as early as 2001. - it included maps, character charts & (cringy) character sketches - I even drew a pretty terrible comic book series.

3) YET-UNPUBLISHED STORIES (4/11) - in university I was the editor-in-chief of a French literary magazine & a columnist for a military mag - I wrote some stories I never published. You can see some in this post: bit.ly/4ru7Qlq -one involved a cactus pants-wearing warrior

4) REPROBATES (5/11) - my first ever story, initially published in a literary magazine with a print-run of 100K copies that earned me my 1st royalty check (a staggering 200€!) - it was re-published in 2015 (with some changes) by my current publisher, where it totally bombed.

5) THE WEAVER OF ODDS (6/11) - my debut novel, 1st in the Vivian Amberville dark fantasy book series. - it follows a girl called Vivian whose thoughts can control odds and reshape reality. - this story ended up being a huge success & kick-started my professional writing career.

6) GOD IS A ROBOT (7/11) - a humorous sci-fi with an all robot cast set in a world where humans are long extinct. - this story has a dark history behind it due to some bad licensing agreements. - it is currently in the publisher's pipeline & will arrive in your hands soon enough

My fellow Weavers, This February, we finally wrap up filming "Louise Blackwick vs the Algorithm" - a funny tongue-in-cheek Youtube show where I meet versions of myself from parallel realities! Editing & post-production will behind shortly. Hope you'll tune in when it's out!🥰❤️

9) 5 STARS (10/11) - this book was my love letter to the videogame art form - every plot device emulates the logic & mechanics of videogames (collision boxes, shrinking arena, AI overlord, giant mech spider, plasma katanas) - written in a new genre called "neon science-fiction"

10) THE BOOK OF CHAOS (11/11) - my most successful & most complex book to date - has 16 subplots, 9 fully-fledged fictional languages, 200+ characters, 20+ magic systems & 8 time loops (one a quintuple timeloop, the other a trifecta) - if Harry Potter was written by H.P Lovecraft
