We are all set to welcome our Foundation Y6 pupils @KingsStAlbans @KingsHawford with ‘Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner’, some book title based games, and a scavenger hunt! #BigKings
Author John Boyne @johnboyne signing a copy of #Fire for the School Library ; 3rd title in his new quartet of novels. Thankyou @RossiterBooks for hosting such an engaging event in Malvern. Fascinating stuff - from catharsis and authenticity to not 'staying in your lane'📚

What a pleasure to meet the @KingsStAlbans Y6 pupils and to be able to give them a taster of what the Senior School Library has to offer when they join us in September. Really delightful pupils who thoroughly engaged with our reading for pleasure activities! 📚
What a perfect morning in the Library with three Y7&8 classes visiting to choose books for the 'Genre discovery' reading challenge. L4B & L4D stayed on, resulting in delightful clusters of children reading throughout the Library. My idea of Heaven! #WeLoveReading 📚
At last night's Nibbies (The British Book Awards), the superlatively talented Katherine Rundell was the recipient of both Book of the Year (the first time in 6 years that a children's writer has picked up the accolade) AND Author of the Year for Impossible Creatures! 🏆📖
Katherine Rundell takes home Book of the Year: Children's Fiction (supported by @theweekjunior) for IMPOSSIBLE CREATURES.
@KidsBloomsbury's no-holds-barred campaign positioned Impossible Creatures as “the book of Rundell’s career”.
