I'm DONE with Las Vegas as a boxing destination unless there's an actual fight I'm coming here to see in person. I'll tell you why. This city calls itself the fight capital of the world, but you would hardly know it unless that specific fight card is in town. First, you can't even use their betting apps without showing up in person to verify your account. You jump through all these hoops and what's waiting for you on the other side? Betting apps that look like they were designed when Mike Tyson still had a head full of hair. But that’s not even the half of it. I'm trying to watch Dubois vs Wardley II, a MAJOR heavyweight card - I go to MGM - Nothing. Caesars - Nothing. THREE different bars. NOTHING! And then some guy at @CaesarsSports has the nerve to tell me showing the fight would be too expensive because of the PPV fees. TOO EXPENSIVE?! FOR A SPORTSBOOK IN LAS VEGAS?! Dawg, you've got people walking through that casino losing the price of a PPV every time they pull a slot machine lever and you're telling me you can't afford to put a heavyweight championship fight on a television?! That's like walking into a steakhouse and being told they don't serve meat because the cows got too expensive. I came here thinking I'd be surrounded by boxing. The atmosphere, the history, the excitement. This is the city where some of the greatest fights in history took place. Instead, I'm walking from one establishment to another like a man looking for a glass of water in the desert. And you wanna know where I ended up watching the card? IN MY DAMN rental! Sitting in a parking garage at the Cosmopolitan, watching a heavyweight boxing card on my phone! Think about the absurdity of that for a second. I'm in the fight capital of the world, surrounded by billion-dollar casinos and giant television screens and the best seat I can find for a boxing match is behind my own steering wheel 😂🤦🏻‍♂️ Las Vegas, you've got the history and reputation. But a reputation isn't worth a damn thing if you can't deliver the experience that built it. Next time, I'll watch from home. At least there, the sportsbook works, the fight's on and I don't have to sit in a parking garage to enjoy it. #DuboisWardley2 #ODohertyGomezJr #JalolovDacres #BirchallGiles #CurtisAgius #OlaniyanGarber #Boxing #Boxeo #BettingPicks

Water is wet. Five fights in seven years.
Breaking: Jermall Charlo has suffered an injury in training camp that has led to his withdrawal from his Oct. 17 return, sources tell The Ring’s @MikeCoppinger. Former titleholder Jose Resendiz is replacing Charlo in the 10-round undercard bout vs. Koen Mazoudie underneath Sebastian Fundora’s title defense.

'The Schoolboy' was probably the most misleading nickname in boxing history. Chacon was a force of nature. Brutal poetry.
Four fights. One point. Ten seconds. Bobby Chacon vs. Rafael Limón IV. December 11, 1982 Sacramento. They had already fought three times. Limón had won the first, their second ended in a technical draw, and Chacon took the third by split decision. They entered the fourth meeting 1-1-1, with Limón defending the WBC super-featherweight title. Limón dropped Chacon in the third round and again in the 10th. Chacon kept coming. With seconds left in the 15th, Chacon finally put Limón down. Limón beat the count and made it to the bell. The cards were 143-141, 142-141 and 141-140, all for Chacon. He became a two-division world champion, and The Ring named it Fight of the Year. Four fights between them. After everything they had traded, the rivalry was decided by the smallest of margins in the final round. #BoxingHistory #Boxing

Whittaker has high-end amateur credentials so the pedigree is there, but circumventing the grounding and steady-build of the traditional British title, European title route is doing him no favours. International/silver/global titles are just ratings greasers.
Ben Whittaker is a hype job. Plain and simple. Eddie will sugar coat this but he’s not beating the elite
