For centuries, humans have imagined themselves at the centre of the natural world. What changes when we begin to question that position? The title of Inheritors of Earth opens up a larger question about how we understand our place within the living world. The exhibition asks us to look differently at what surrounds us and to consider perspectives that move beyond a human-centred view of the planet. Premjish Achari, Senior Curator, KNMA shares the thinking behind the exhibition and what led him to ask who the earth belongs to. Come experience Inheritors of Earth at KNMA and consider the question for yourself. 📆 On view till 22 Dec 26 ⏰11.00am - 8.00pm 📍KNMA, New Delhi⁣ 🎟️Free Admission⁣ Curated by Premjish Achari #KNMA #InheritorsOfEarth #PremjishAchari #ArtAndEcology #ContemporaryArt

Every festival takes shape through the people and ideas that come together to make it happen. The artists invited and the practices they bring with them all contribute to the character of an edition, shaped by the curator’s vision and intent. Aditi Jaitly Jadeja, Associate Director, Performing Arts, KNMA, shares her perspective on the KNMA Dance Festival: The Call of the Beloved, curated by Leela Samson, and the thinking behind the artists and practices coming together this year. The rest is for the stage, and for each audience member to discover for themselves. Come curious and experience the festival with us. 📅 15–18 October 2026 📍 Sunder Nursery, Delhi 📌 Tap the link below to reserve your spot! linktr.ee/knmaindia #KNMA #KNMADanceFestival #TheCallOfTheBeloved #PerformingArts #DelhiEvents

“It’s very difficult to resist this thing called love.” For Leela Samson, curator of this year’s KNMA Dance Festival: The Call of the Beloved, love has many points of entry. It can be found in relationships, in nature, in poetry and in stories that have stayed with us across generations. The festival brings some of these stories together through dance, drawing from different traditions, languages and ways of understanding love. Join us and experience these stories come alive through dance. 📅 15–18 October 2026 📍 Sunder Nursery, Delhi 📌 Tap the link in bio to reserve your spot! #KNMA #KNMADanceFestival #TheCallOfTheBeloved #PerformingArts #DelhiEvents

Most of us spend our days responding to messages, deadlines, and other people's needs. Standing in front of an artwork is one of the few moments where nothing is asked of you. There's no right answer and nothing to get through. Look slowly, and you start to notice what's happening inside you. Come back to yourself, come back with art. Not for a day, or a cause. Spend time with art because it's time with yourself. This World Mental Health Day, and on the days after, come spend a few quiet minutes with us at KNMA. See what it stirs in you 🤍 Narrated by: Aditi Ghildiyal Curator - Visual Arts Kiran Nadar Museum of Art #KNMA #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealth #ArtForWellbeing

Theatre needs more than a stage. It needs time, space and the freedom to work things out. Aditi Jaitly Jadeja, Associate Director, Performing Arts, KNMA, speaks about KNMA’s vision for the performing arts and its commitment to supporting theatre makers through the process of developing new work. Veteran theatre director Anuradha Kapur’s new staging of Virasat brings this vision into practice, giving a known work the space to be approached differently and encountered anew by audiences in Delhi. Follow the journey of theatre this September with Virasat. 📅24–27 September 2026 ⏰7.00 PM onwards 📍Sunder Nursery, Delhi #KNMA #Virasat #IndianTheatre #TheatreInDelhi #EventsinDelhi

Being included is not just about being invited in. It is about being able to take part fully and meaningfully, on your own terms. For Hardeep Singh, Deputy Manager – Inclusion Art, Education at KNMA, that is part of what a cultural space or experience should make possible. On this International Day of Sign Languages, we celebrate the many ways people communicate, connect and experience culture, and the importance of making room for all of them. #InternationalDayOfSignLanguages #IndianSignLanguage #ISL #Community #Inclusion

The house in Virasat is more than a set. It shapes what can be seen, who gets to be seen, and how the audience moves through the story. For scenographer Deepan Sivaraman, the space had to feel lived-in, familiar and slightly unsettled, much like the family at its centre. As perspectives shift, so does our understanding of the people who inhabit it. Virasat has been commissioned by the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art and developed in residence at Black Box Okhla. 📅24–27 September 2026 ⏰7.00 PM onwards 📍Sunder Nursery, Delhi #KNMA #Virasat #IndianTheatre #TheatreInDelhi #EventsinDelhi

Have you ever considered that we might be looking at plants all wrong? KNMA is bringing a new exhibition, Inheritors of Earth, offering a whole new perspective on the way we see the living world around us. Bringing together artists who look beyond plants as something to use, consume or simply look at, the exhibition invites us to consider the lives that exist alongside ours, with their own rhythms, histories and ways of being. Because this earth was never ours alone. It is a shared inheritance, and perhaps it is time we looked at it that way. Stay tuned. Inheritors of Earth arrives at KNMA in a few days. 📆 On view from 9 Sep 26 ⏰11.00am - 8.00pm 📍KNMA, New Delhi⁣ 🎟️Free Admission⁣ Curated by Premjish Achari #KNMA #InheritorsOfEarth #NewExhibition

A new chapter is about to unfold at KNMA, New Delhi, bringing together the work of two remarkable artists, Bice Lazzari (1900-1981) from Italy and Nasreen Mohamedi (1937-1990) from India. Look closely at their work and you cannot miss the unexpected resonance between them, as though they have been In-Rhythm all along. Although both artists developed their practices independently, in different parts of the world and generations apart, they arrived at strikingly similar visual languages, shaped by an exploration of line, form, space and abstraction. Curated by Roobina Karode, Artistic Director and Chief Curator, KNMA, and Andrea Anastasio, Director of Italian Cultural Centre. In-Rhythm brings these two distinct bodies of work into dialogue, inviting us to discover the unexpected affinities that emerge between them. The exhibition is presented in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Centre, and with artworks loaned from the Archive of Bice Lazzari, Rome. 📆 On view from 9 Sep 26 ⏰ 11.00am - 8.00pm 📍KNMA, New Delhi⁣ 🎟️Free Admission #KNMA #InRhythm #NewExhibition
