It has been sitting in the Senate ever since.
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) is leading the opposition. He says Arkansas kids would go to school in the dark.
Majority Leader John Thune voted against it in committee. He says there's "no clear path forward."
Trump backs it: "Almost everybody wants 'The Sunshine Protection Act' to pass, except for Tom Cotton."
The Senate is out AGAIN until Nov. 9, so we fall back again Nov. 1.
If it doesn't pass by December, the bill dies and starts over.

NEW: Democrats want American taxpayers to cover immigrants’ healthcare training—and pay their living expenses while they study for licensing exams.
Reps. Adam Smith and Raja Krishnamoorthi introduced H.R. 10708 on October 1.
The bill explicitly authorizes:
“providing a living stipend to individuals studying for such examination.”
The proposed federal grants could also cover:
• Nursing and allied-health education.
• Licensing and certification exams.
• Exam preparation.
• English classes.
Previous healthcare experience? NOT required, according to Smith’s announcement.
There’s more: the bill would override citizenship requirements so eligible immigrants could access National Health Service Corps scholarships and student-loan repayment.
Eligibility includes green-card holders, refugees, asylum recipients and other work-authorized immigrants.
Federal funding to train immigrants for healthcare jobs—even starting from scratch—with living stipends during exam study.
The legislation is pending.

Out of 58 sitting foreign-born Article III judges, 43 were appointed by Biden or Obama. Among those drawn from ACLU and public defender pipelines, border enforcement is blocked over 80% of the time and 60% of criminal sentences fall below federal guidelines.
We have added an interactive tool on bench receipts that allows you to drill down and look at how each of these judges behave on the bench.
This is just the start. The federal judges are easier to identify than the state level judges. I assume there are 100s if not 1000+ foreign born or first-gen American on our benches.
They do not judge on our laws, they judge on the culture they came from. This is a huge reason our country has lost its identity.

The guy in charge of the ballots in Champaign County, Illinois is under federal indictment. He's also on the ballot.
Clerk Aaron Ammons is charged with obstruction for allegedly helping cover for his wife, a Democrat state rep facing eight counts of wire fraud. He asked to push his own federal trial to December so he could run this election, and he got it.
So how's that going? His office mailed more than 600 ballots with the wrong state House races on them. Early voting got shut down, and a lot of voters found out when they showed up. 28 people already voted on bad ballots, and those votes can't be fixed.
One of the races they botched is a seat the Republican won by 269 votes last time. His wife's district got scrambled too.
This is the same office that blamed a "cyberattack" in 2022, had an outage on Election Day 2024, and printed a GOP candidate's name as "Tad."
Congress gave him until Friday to explain himself. Republicans asked Illinois AG Kwame Raoul to step in, and his office wouldn't even comment.
If an indicted Republican clerk pulled this three weeks before an election, it would be on every network for a week. Instead it's crickets.

You don’t have to have the right words or pretend everything is fine.
You can tell Him it doesn’t make sense right now and that you’re deciding to trust Him anyway.
He already knows what’s on your heart, and He’s right there with you in the middle of the storms.
Psalm 62:8 says to trust in Him at all times and pour out your hearts to Him, because God is our refuge.
That’s exactly what those quiet moments are for.
Sometimes the most honest prayer is just saying, “God, I don’t understand this, but I still trust You.”
He doesn’t need you to reason it all out first.
He just wants you to come to Him with whatever is weighing you down.
And somehow, in the quiet of those moments, He meets you there and reminds you that you’re not alone in any of it.
