We just lost another legend today 😔 The beloved character actor Richard Riehle has passed away at 78, bringing to a close a career that stretched across hundreds of film and television appearances. Star Wars Legend Carrie Fisher Passed Away Ten Years Ago at 60 Years Old; She Would Be Turing 70 If She's Still With Us 🌌🕊️ Happy heavenly birthday! ❤️ Princess Leia Organa made her an international icon, but Fisher spent the decades that followed showing audiences just how distinctive her voice could be as an actress, author, screenwriter, script doctor, and famously sharp observer of Hollywood and her own extraordinary life. On screen, she moved effortlessly between the warmth of Marie in When Harry Met Sally…, the comedy of The ’Burbs and 30 Rock, the eccentricity of The Blues Brothers, and the wonderfully deadpan Angela in Family Guy. Years later, returning to Star Wars as General Leia gave audiences the chance to see her signature character grow alongside the fans who had loved her since 1977. Her memorable screen and voice work includes: • Princess / General Leia Organa (Star Wars franchise) • Marie (When Harry Met Sally…) • Angela (Family Guy) • Mystery Woman (The Blues Brothers) • Carol Peterson (The ’Burbs) • Rosemary Howard (30 Rock) • Mia Norris (Catastrophe) • Bianca (Scream 3) • Mrs. Crenshaw (Sorority Row) • Betsy Faye Sharon (Soapdish) • April (Hannah and Her Sisters) • Janie (Drop Dead Fred) • Lorna Karpf (Shampoo) • Therapist (Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery) Fisher’s legacy reaches beyond the characters she played. Her writing, humor, and candid storytelling gave audiences another side of the woman behind one of cinema’s most famous heroines. Happy Birthday in Heaven, Carrie Fisher. At 70, you are remembered not only as our princess and general, but as a singular talent whose humor, honesty, and fearless individuality remain impossible to replace. 👑🕊️
