If you wrestle and win medals at Iowa, here’s what you have to look forward to as an alumni… 2 weeks ago at Soldier Salute, alumni (and 2014 NCAA Champion for Iowa) Tony Ramos was invited to come watch women’s practice by Clarissa Chun & Macey Kilty… Tom Brands got word he was there and called the AD, who had Ramos escorted out. Last summer, Iowa asked Thomas Gilman if they could display his Olympic Medal at Carver Hawkeye. He was in town later on with his family and decided to go see it on display… Terry Brands blocked him at the entrance and refused to let him and his family get in to see it. Gilman asked for it back- they mailed it to him. Not to mention all that went down with Metcalf. Do any other schools treat their NCAA CHAMPION and OLYMPIC MEDALIST alumni this way? They are good enough to be put on display and in your history books as you claim their accolades, but not allowed in the building? Just because they coach at difference schools? Or is it because two toddlers run the nursery? 🤨
