Many congratulations to Susquehanna on an amazing season. After seeing North Central drop 49 unanswered points on Susquehanna, it's easy to discredit the river hawks, but we have to ask ourselves why they got here in the first place. Cortland won the stagg bowl last year and was the first east region team to win it all since 1991. This gave east region teams (susquehanna, springfield, etc.) the confidence that helped them get as far as they did. Hope & Maryville are other teams which won their first ever playoff games this season as well. So we still have to thank the underdogs for giving more teams the confidence to make it farther than they have ever before. That's why I dropped the image with all the schools standing behind Susquehanna because it's better to root for the underdog. It gives hope to more teams. #d3fb
