Now before you say again that I'm Anti-AI, ask yourself this.
Why would I be? I find it useful.
Why am I against it in my community? Because modding is an art form and AI-generated code are just soulless representations promoted by clout chasers and grifters.
It's also code that has been made with AI that are sloppy, contain complicated system calls, and overall contains nonsense that a human would just not include.
Readable code is easier to maintain and control, and slop AI code only contributes noise and makes it harder to debug.
A few mods already in the Kingdom Hearts community have been .dll mods with no source code that could easily hide cryptominers or other trojans from actors who don't care for the community and see an easy target to steal data and other information.
What makes you think I'm not aware of malware existing in game mods for several years now?
What also makes you think I'm Anti-AI when I've stated numerous times I use AI?
This makes it easy for malicious actors who have no place in any communities to easily produce malware.

I still do not advocate any hate and vitriol toward him. Despite my immense disappointment he is still my friend.
Though I do encourage asking him to do better. The position he’s in as the biggest primarily KH centric content creator but covering entirely or mostly AI generated mods is a dangerous precedent and flat out encourages further use of GenAI, rather than fostering and encouraging actual creativity, work, and drive.
No amount of “it’s cool though” excuses taking shortcuts built on stolen work.
They're genuinely sociopaths. Truly mean-spirited people. You can't fight them, they have nothing to lose and know that when they eventually pass, no one will miss them.
One day, someone who doesn't even care about the community is going to vibecode a mod with malware, and it's going to ruin the scene.
A lot of us who don't use AI in our work with the scene are so heavily discouraged to even continue anymore.
It's frustrating. Our work was done with passion, and it feels these vibecoded mods are only made for clout.
I wish you would interact with us in the modding communuty more often, so you'd have a better understanding why all this slopcode is slowly ruining the scene from the inside.
Unoptomized code will be pushed and will make the modding scene unstable with the amount of unmaintainable slop code being pushed, which will rot the community.
Be better, stuff like Re:Fined was made without AI and are infinitely maintained and run better than all this slop.
