@judy_siebert is finishing up a very busy week! Her coaching visits took her to Morgan County, Cocke County, and Oak Ridge HS this week. Teachers instruct on STEM, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Digital Arts. 馃敡
Today鈥檚 @KCS_EPP Learning Day is rich in discussions abt how educational & behavioral theorists have shaped how we (should) teach. Cohort 5 candidates give their presentations. Judy pulls in this info to instruct them on student assessment & feedback that is actually effective!馃檪
On Monday night, Cohort 5 met to discuss how to infuse CTSOs into their teaching. That鈥檚 what you get with our EPP! Thanks to @srebeducation鈥檚 T2L curriculum, we prepare new teachers specifically for their jobs in CTE classrooms, workshops, and labs! @judy_siebert
We are working closely with our candidates this week in both coaching visits and during Cohort 5鈥檚 EPP Learning Day. @UllaCarr saw Mr Henry 馃殫 , Ms Rhodes 馃┖ & Mr Huettel (not pic鈥檇) @southdoylehs yesterday. @judy_siebert leads C5 in engagement & questioning strategies today.
It is wonderful to see our former EPP candidates do great things in their schools. The Loudon County School Board recently recognized Mr. Preston, Mr. Webster & Mr Walden for leading their students to win 1st place at the Builders Exchange competition. Congratulations to all!! 馃帀
The last EPP Learning Day for Cohort 4 is a wrap! 馃帀 Instructor @judy_siebert led the candidates through class activities and group work exploring topics around Questioning and Problem-Based-Learning in more depth. They also worked on their portfolios. 馃憦馃徎馃憦馃徎馃憦馃徎
Happy 2026! 馃帀 We are back at it - tonight with Cohort 5 learning about how the use of instructional technology can enhance the student experience. @judy_siebert

@judy_siebert & @UllaCarr enjoyed running into current & former EPP candidates at ACTE Vision 2025 in Nashville last week: Shelly Rednour, Tim No, Mark Buckner & there were certainly more! Also there: our partners Chris Bailey from SREB & Ms Conrad from Univ of Central MO 馃槉
So proud of our current KCS EPP candidates Mr Clark & Ms Lamb and our past graduate Mr Hatfield for collaborating with their @hamblencte colleagues to build and run this awesome coffee cart-winning 2nd place at the Battle of the Build!! 馃憦馃徎馃憦馃徎
