Peace is not only the absence of conflict; it is the foundation on which communities thrive.
When peace is disrupted, the effects can last for generations. Communities may experience delayed development, interrupted education, increased school dropout, loss of livelihoods, and the strengthening of harmful norms that disproportionately affect children ,women and girls.
Today, as we mark International Day of Peace, we join community actors and peace champions in calling for a culture of peace one that we embrace, protect, and live every day.
Let us choose dialogue over violence, inclusion over division, and unity over fear. Peace should not only be protected before, during, and after elections; it should be part of our everyday lives and communities.
Let us talk peace. Let us live peace. Let us leave a legacy of peace. @NACADAKenya @KCDF @mpi_kenya @docciesphere @CJPDKENYA

Every institution should ask one question:
Are we producing graduates who look for jobs, or problem-solvers who create solutions?
Programmes like #YIC4 remind us that innovation is not just about technology—it’s about empowering young people to improve their own communities.
That’s how sustainable impact begins.

"Let us remember that we are not simply giving awards. We are building a movement of young Kenyans who see environmental challenges not as an inheritance to be endured, but as problems to be solved." - KCDF Board Vice Chair Gordon Otieno Odundo during the launch of #YIC4

Thank you @KCDF for organizing this transformative training n the SME Support Centre for the practical facilitation. The journey continues!
The biggest lesson?A social enterprise must think commercially without losing sight of its mission.Profit isnt the goal—it's the fuel that allows us to scale our impact and serve more communities.
Building businesses.Transforming lives. Creating lasting impact.
