The people who seem to be really angry about the fact that HMRC will be able to directly recover debts from bank accounts ,are the same people who were positively ecstatic when the same policy only applied to the DWP. Just an observation

Been holed up at Leeds Bradford airport since 5.30 am and FINALLY boarding the 6hr + delayed flight to Sicily 🙌
On the plus side I’ve met some spectacularly lovely humans during this experience 🥰
Now over 2 hours into my flight delay from Leeds to Catania, which has been estimated to be departing at 10.45 am since about 8am, yet no gate announced and zero comms from @jet2tweets
Oh and a £5 credit to the boarding pass that neither Starbucks or Boots would accept 😡
