FALL IS ON THE WAY, I SWEAR
This morning feels much more comfortable thanks to drier air that moved in overnight. We'll start slightly cooler, but afternoon highs are still slated for the lower 90s.
Changes arrive late tonight and early Friday as our fall front moves through!
Another sticky, steamy, summer-like day ahead before changes arrive Friday.

A sticky start to the morning before near-record heat moves in this afternoon.
If we are going to find rain, today looks like our best shot, but that's not saying much. Coverage will be isolated at best, with most staying dry.
Do not fret; fall air is on the way!
Gulf air has returned to the Brazos Valley this morning, and we will be feeling it for the next few days.

Gulf air has returned to the Brazos Valley, and we are feeling it this morning!
We could find record warmth this morning, with most waking up in the upper 70s. That humid air will hang around, taking heat indices near 100°. Isolated showers are possible by this afternoon.

Don't get used to the cool mornings! Humidity and the heat will climb this week on both sides of the clock.
With the added moisture, we'll watch for scattered afternoon showers today through Wednesday.
Cool mornings and toasty afternoons through the weekend, but changes settle in next week.

We're continuing to monitor Isaias. Currently a Cat 2 storm, with the latest forecast strengthening to a Cat 3 later this afternoon. If it does so, Isaias would be the first major hurricane of the season.
The only local impacts we expect to find is drier and hotter air moving in.
Staying toasty through the rest of the week as we watch for indirect impacts from Hurricane Isaias.

Rise and shine! Thursday morning is starting off nicely with comfortable upper 60s and low 70s across the region. But here's the thing—once that sun comes up, temperatures will climb fast!
We have more of the same getting into the weekend.
Cool mornings and warm afternoons stick around as Tropical Storm Isaias churns in the Gulf.

Waking up to the coolest morning that many of us have seen since MAY! Get out and enjoy it!
While you may want a light layer to start the day, you won't need it for long. Afternoon highs climb to 90° with ample sunshine and dry air.
FALL?!? IS THAT YOU?!?!
Enjoy it while it's here!

Stepping outside this morning, you'll notice that crisp fall feel — temps settling in the mid-to-upper 60s. Perfect for that morning walk or jog!
As we head into the afternoon, sunshine will dominate, and temps will climb to the upper 80s.

Made it to Monday!
We've got lingering moisture this morning, enough to start the day cloudy.
Cool and crisp mornings will greet us over the next couple of mornings, with seasonable afternoons.
This is the kind of fall weather you've been waiting for. Get outside and enjoy it!
Keep the rain gear close by! We are not done with the rain chances just yet!

Waking up soggy this morning!
Rainfall stuck around overnight, but has become lighter in coverage and intensity. Roads will likely still be a bit slick in some spots, so give yourself some extra time.
It won't rain ALL day, but additional rounds of showers are likely off and on.
