KSBA’s Amendment 2 FACT CHECK series continues!
The claim: Amendment 2 “protects public school funding” and “increases teacher pay.”
The facts: Amendment 2 does neither. The amendment gives Ky.'s legislature new authority to direct public tax dollars to private schools. Period.

Fayette Co. board to join fight against 2021 school choice law
Public funds should support public schools. We oppose efforts undermining Kentucky’s constitutional guarantee to public education. That’s why our @FCPSKY Board voted tonight to authorize the filing of an amicus brief with the KY Supreme Court in support of the challenge to HB 563
