Ten years ago today this boy saved my life allowing me to go home to my family. He went to create laws and draw attention to the amazing world of service animals. Thank you Finn. Me hero. #Finnslaw #FinnsLawPart2 #FabulousFinn

Retired Officer Kenny MacLeod laid to rest this week, with his K9 partner Boston beside him one last time. Hours later, Boston passed away too. Years of service. Total trust. A partnership few truly understand. Together in life. Together again now. Rest easy, both. 🐾💙

PD Lex has had a busy week 👀 Two fail-to-stops and a firearms job. Suspects ran. Lex arrived. Predictable outcome… 2 legs vs 4 rarely ends well for the baddies🐾 Great work by the team. Credit: Derbyshire Police

Cadan is 2yrs old and he was let down by a long list of humans before he was even a year old! Cadan has flourished in our #Cornwall kennels, he can live with older kids and is working on his doggy social skills #GermanShepherd #dogs gsrelite.co.uk/cadan/

A really important BBC piece from my friend Sean Dilley about assistance dog users being refused service without ID. These dogs are independence, not pets. Worth a read 👇🐾 bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1kl….

JD Wetherspoon's assistance dog policy could be breaking the law, watchdog says

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has written to the pub chain after complaints from disabled customers.

7 years ago today, Fabulous Finn was published. A Sunday Times bestseller, but more importantly, his courage reached people’s hearts. Thank you for being part of his journey. A lovely Valentine’s gift for any dog lover 🐾 #FabulousFinn

This morning I spoke on BBC radio about why Finn’s Law isn’t working as Parliament intended. Please listen to the end of this clip. The confusion you hear isn’t mine.

Early hours burglary in Hindley Green. PC Elsden & PD Dre track suspects. One ignores a challenge and is swiftly detained 😉 Second found hiding and surrenders. Property recovered. Body-worn footage 👇🐕‍🦺

Six years ago I shared this. If I had that minute now… I already know what I’d ask. One minute. Your dog can talk. What do you ask? #FabulousFinn

This male Swan was away from his mate while recovering from an operation. Once he notices his partner, the joy of flying through the water is magnificent. It’s worth watching their beautiful reunion. ❤️ 🦢

Many have asked:What can we do? I’ve written to the DPP about whether sentencing for assaults on police service animals reflects the intent of Finn’s Law You can write calmly & ask the same. 📧 [email protected] Police dogs and horses rely on us — in life and in law.

I didn’t plan to make this public. I wrote to the Director of Public Prosecutions with a reasonable question about Finn’s Law. I’ve had no reply. This isn’t a call-out. It’s about whether the promise to police service animals is being upheld. Open letter below.

The end of this made me cry 🐴 Not just horses arriving at a sanctuary — this is duty finally loosening its grip. After years of calm in chaos, they get grass, space and peace. Retirement is respect. Thank you @TheHorseTrust 💙 #FinnsLaw #FabulousFinn
