Heavy ice last night was quickly melted away by the morning sun. All antennas appear to have survived. The "rain" you hear in the video is the ice melting and falling from the trees!

It was another good weekend of #contesting! I got 400 QSOs in the @ARRL 160m Contest despite limited time. Then, I thought I'd dabble in the inaugural #FT8 Roundup and got 116 QSOs! I'm not sure I like FT8 as a contest mode, but I'm glad I tried it! TU to all!

My #HamRadio goal for 2018 was 18,000 QSOs. I just logged K2DH on 160m FT8 to reach that goal with a full month left! w00t! #grateful

If you work someone on #FT8 and don't respond to their RRR with a 73, the protocol is incomplete and the QSO probably isn't going in the log.

I made 37 FT8 QSOs on the "dead" 12m band today! 12m is a @montypython fan: "I'm not dead yet!"

I just built a 30m QCX XCVR from @qrplabs! What fun! Best 50 bucks I ever spent in #hamradio! Brilliant design and great price! 8 hrs of construction time and it works! w00t!
