I think this is *very* important for the world.. Otherwise I'd retire 🫠
Notes:
> It's NOT a venture fund
> The goal is to unblock top ambition/talent, underserved young people with big dreams. Where do small grants/mentorship make a *real* difference?
> Every company and person helping/contributing time, capital, compute credits is (obviously) doing this pro-bono.
> The goal is ambition with social good in *some* way... Meme coin trading apps, etc aren't the target. Again, this isn't a venture fund.
> Literally launching, so be patient if website issues etc

> With the rise of AI, most applications for anything get a lot of noise & bullshit... It's easy to spam them! The vast majority of people will be rejected for obvious reasons. If you don't get an interview, you're rejected. The point of this is to cater to the top 1% underserved, young people who *could* change the world but don't have the connections, capital, mentorship. This does *not* cater to the 99%.
> Decisions are made by an independent committee. Harvard iLab mentors, ex/current founders, VCs, etc.

I really hope not taking the points will be the final bad decision of Beamer’s time at South Carolina.
I love @Delta but they are officially on the clock 1.2 million miles flown with them but it’s 2026 and flight time is efficient work time. Most of my flights are in working hours and I owe it to my company to be productive even when traveling.

AI that stops at a screen is a cool demo.
AI that ends up in your hands is a revolution.

Nearly a year later guess who just had to take an @AmericanAir flight. Had not taken one since this last post… 3:30 minute delay as their equipment was late and then land in Chicago and we touched down 30 minutes ago with no gate in sight. I simply don’t understand how they stay in business.
Time for my annual airline complaint post. @AmericanAir I only fly your airline when I absolutely have to and regret it 100% of the time. Thanks for being so consistent in my life.
