I'm actually surprised those who are against the Death Penalty are against the Public Executions. It protects the one being executed. You'd figure they'd be for it. Public Executions are transparent, it keeps the government accountable. They mess up executions so much these days, they can argue that the public deserves to see what happens. Today, even in private viewings, they hide most of the process so no one can tell whats going on behind the curtain. Its a relief its firing squad, a way to just get it over with instead of dealing with all these drugs, IV, insanity. Just shoot 'em or hang 'em, and get it over with. Just food for thought

He said he believes the Word in John 1 is Christ, not the Bible. But this is the same distinction he makes on his podcast: he distinguishes the physical Bible from the Word contained within it, arguing that the Bible is the physical book that illuminates the Word, who is Christ. He tried this later in the debate with Jay as well. He makes a distinction between Bible (physical book itself) and the Word within it, the content of the Bible (no different than Christ). Christ = Word & Truth. Truth in Bible = Word, so therefore, Christ is the literal same as the Word and Truth of Bible. This distinction doesnt save him. The Bible's contents is God breathed, not God Himself. By collapsing the distinction between Christ, the uncreated Word of God, and the inspired words of Scripture, Shelley effectively introduces a fourth member into the Godhead. Shelley believes in a quadrinity.

I really like how BryceJ argued Roots on the topic of Divorce and Remarriage. Bryce constantly exposed a contradiction in Roots' Catholic positions over and over again. Contradiction loop.

Let me get this straight.... BryceJ believes the Bishop of Rome was the head of the Church in the first millennium, in the way some Roman Catholics argue, but when Rome left, that roleship transfered to Constantinople... wow...
