Yo @ECUAthletics (no… not the guy that is running this account… but the staff that are seeing this post). In 2027… we have to make it a priority to get butts in seats in the grandstand. For far too long, we have a thousand people out in the jungle… that would rather be in the grandstands (but can’t because we have “sold out” the tickets). Clark-LeClair is a special place when packed around the grandstands… from the field… it feels like the crowd is right on top of you! Help us bring back the home field advantage! Let’s not overthink it!

PARKER BYRD…… BBBBOOOOOOMMMMMMBBBBBBB!!! Took a 3-1 pitch over the left field wall for the @EdentonSteamers vs the New Bern Southpaws. Shoutout to @Jbyrd41718 for the video of him doing the homerun trot. @parkerbyrd11 … known homerun threat. As of this post… he has 2 hits in the night

Did You Know: - @EastCarolina has the largest Cyber Security program in the state of NC. - 600 students are currently in the program, as a part of the College of Engineering and Technology (@ECUCET) - ECU expects to have 1,000 students within the next 3 years. These are two of the computer labs. The 2nd picture is of the lab that is funded by the National Security Agency and the Department of Defense. The lab is designed to create challenges where teams will “fight” each other in cyber warfare and security. Was really cool to see run in real time. DOD officials recently toured this facility and were absolutely floored. This facility was designed and built by ECU students and faculty. Some schools just teach…. At ECU… you DO. Students that are granted NSA scholarships, are guaranteed jobs, which grant them security clearance access… which will make them highly marketable. Wanted to share this… this was news to me (about the funding and scale of the program)
