@Justify3107 was one of the few people on Twitter that was adamant Flightline was a monster sire despite the slow start. You can’t fully understand a sire’s quality based off stats, especially early freshman two year old stats. You need to be familiar with all their runners, the context of their races (i.e. Powerline blowing the start 2x yet working like a monster), the profile of the sire, if they are a fast maturing turf sprinter or late maturing router and the quality of their unraced babies.
And considering Tapit’s Essential Quality (who also started slow) hit the trifecta in the distaff and exacta in classic today, expect these Flightlines to only get better with age and distance. If Powerline, Inshallah, Zedan and Shonan Galleon are this freaky this early on….what the heck will they be doing next time this year? 🤯
