The annoying thing about twitter is that everyone feels they need to justify their opinions as facts. So they say shit like "spiritually dead series" instead of "I didn't personally like/enjoy the past few games" and then acting like its some great tragedy for everyone.
Kinda unrelated but this tier list is how I find out that a lot of the fandom apparently adores 9 but hates Village
This video is absolutely fantastic but I think Dunkey's best film review is his video on playtime, because in that one he leverages his own comedy with that of the films while also being able to dive directly into what makes that movie so special.
I was planning on rewatching Digger but I tried looking up showdates and it's just completely gone from all theaters in the Philippines, it's not showing here anymore. 😭
My hot take is that PTA is more consistent but Nolan has higher highs. PTA's weakest movie is a 7/10 while Nolan's worst is a 4/10. With that being said, I still like Oppenheimer and Memento more than anything PTA has made.
I don't necessarily see that as a bad thing. I don't think the film critiques the people who went to watch Fossil Fools, and shows it as a brief respite for them from their miserable reality, despite it not changing that reality at all.
This is so strange to me because as a whole Superhot is NOT a hard game, so you can probably rack up those numbers with no issue while playing the game in a way that's actually fun.

So I just had the thought, do the Resident Evil games count as Metroidvanias or am I completely insane?
Yknow whats interesting to me is that I feel like the Zelda fandom is split 50/50 between liking TotK more and liking BotW more
