And just like that....they're all gone. What a ride. Wishing Marc, Ebs and Michael the very best in the careers.
Dear @CPFC
Please make a request to play in the red and blue lightning kit as the home kit for the rest of the season.
Thanks

(Apart from the ones who don’t want it)
Let’s be honest here. Neither side showed enough to win that tie. Fine margins. Going home with a smile on my face. One doesn’t need to slander tonight. A cup game sees a win. Sleep well
Two of my kids got knocked over by a cyclist jumping the lights in Central London today going around a bus - effectively overtaking blind. Preferably don't jump the lights, but if you do, then do it safely and be aware of your surroundings. Not f**king happy!

🚨🎙️ Roy Keane on Harry Kane winning the 2026 Ballon d'Or over Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal:
"You know what? For once, I am actually enjoying an awards ceremony because we are finally seeing somebody who actually deserves taking that Ballon d'Or trophy home. No PR stunts, no nonsense publicity games—just pure, unadulterated football.
This is what it actually means to put the work in and have the results do the talking.
Did Mbappé and Yamal deserve to be in the conversation? Of course, the talent there is obvious. But if we are talking about who genuinely earned to be crowned the best in the world, it is Harry Kane. His standards never slipped, not for a single second. Look at what he has done for club and country this season. He went out, scored seventy-three goals in sixty-five appearances, including sixty-one in fifty-one games for Bayern Munich alone.
He didn't just pad his stats; he delivered in the biggest moments, netting fourteen times in the Champions League and twelve more with England, including six at the World Cup to lead his nation to a bronze medal. He led Bayern to the Bundesliga title and the DFB-Pokal. He has been an absolute machine.
This is what I appreciate about the game. Hard work, relentless consistency, and leading from the front—not off the pitch, but on it. Harry Kane winning it tonight is football at its absolute truest." #BallonDor

😳 The official Ballon d'Or website might have just revealed that England's Bayern Munich centre-forward Harry Kane has won the 2025-2026 Men's Ballon d'Or...
Don’t you dare Matthew (Hobbs)….
🚨 BREAKING: Rob Edwards has decided not to pursue the Burnley job following talks.
Carlos Corberan did not have an interview today and is holding out for an EPL job, as revealed yesterday.
🤝 @alex_crook
Change is needed in lots of places in the club on and off the pitch. Feels a bit meh.
Plus go back to the red and blue strip, please!!!!!!!!
I actually quite like Walter in goal, but there are just some shots that seem to go through him. He had that wonder game vs Forest I know, but looking forward to seeing Deano back in goal. Not here to disrespect Walter at all.

In November 2011, Billy Sharp lined up for Doncaster against Middlesbrough just three days after losing his son Luey Jacob, who was only two days old.
He hadn't trained and had hardly eaten, but he phoned Dean Saunders before the game and said he wanted to play. He wanted to score for his boy. Doncaster picked him.
The whole Keepmoat Stadium stood for a minute's applause for Luey before kick-off. Then, 14 minutes in, the ball fell to Sharp and he volleyed it first time with his left foot, over Jason Steele and into the net.
He pulled his shirt up straight away to reveal the message underneath.
“That’s for you son.”
That would usually be a yellow card. Referee Darren Deadman took one look at him and kept it in his pocket.
Afterwards, Sharp thanked both sets of fans.
“My goal had to be something special tonight for my special boy.”
“I’m so proud of him, and his mum.”
His partner Jade shared a message too.
“Daddy did Luey proud tonight.”
Doncaster went on to lose 3-1, but the result was the last thing anyone remembered. Even Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray knew what the night was really about.
“For him to score a wonder-goal, your headlines should be there really.”
“A goal from heaven.”
Right call from Darren Deadman. Some moments are bigger than the rulebook.
