At an apartment building in Kramatorsk that was hit by a rocket last week, life goes on (wait for it). We made sure she wasn’t stuck there. Many pets have been victims of the invasion, so @WCKitchen is starting to bring food for furry friends here & in Kharkiv. #CatsForUkraine 🐱

We weren’t far from the Kramatorsk train station when missiles hit, picking up flour from a @WCKitchen warehouse to bring to a bakery. Others can share images, but I can tell you innocent women & children were murdered here today. Our local team continues to work to get food out.

Chef @chefjoseandres tells me in Kyiv that his humanitarian organization @WCKitchen have been delivering 300,000 meals a day for those Ukrainians hit by war. I asked him how he does it: "It's not so complicated. I'm a cook. I have restaurants... we are the food fighters."

WCK’s @natemook is north of Kharkiv in the east of Ukraine, which has been under constant attack for over a month. This is one of many bomb shelters we serve, deep under a building blown out by shelling. 200 people live here—seniors & children—and many pets. #ChefsForUkraine 🇺🇦
