A law that restricts people's artistic freedoms because it's "icky" is a bad law.

They made porn depicting fictional incest illegal but refused to pass a law to make marrying family illegal. So its fine to do in real life but depicting it in fiction is illegal. Cant wait to see them arrest anyone who watches game of thrones.

Unfortunately, we have to defend the disgusting porn. I've played these dang games before.

Hank hill is a conservative. He loves Regan but almost stopped supporting bush because he had a limp ass handshake. He would hate Trump because he doesn’t like showboats and ESPECIALLY because trump eats his steak well done. Hank has told Bobby to politely but firmly ask people to leave their cookouts if they ask for well done. Hank also reaches over the aisle because of his character to always do what’s right and not because of a political party. He loves Ann Richards who was the democratic governor of Texas. His dog ladybird is name after Lyndon b Johnson’s wife out of pure admiration for them. True king of the hill fans know how much he loved ladybird.
Co creator Greg Daniels even said in an interview that Hank would’ve hate trump and not vote for him.

Definitely have. Hank is as conservative as they get. To suggest otherwise is ignorant
On todays episode of "Jess will never escape QA" I'm 5 pages deep in the community bug reports for Planet Zoo 2 and I am having more fun reading the reports than I am playing the game
In Stephen King’s 1974 book, Chris Hargensen and Billy Nolan kill Tommy Ross when one of the blood buckets drops on his head and knocks him out; he dies later in the fire while unconscious. Carrie does not use her powers on him. The blood, the laughter, and his collapse are the final trigger that snaps her. She runs out, then deliberately returns, locks the gym doors, turns on the sprinklers, rips down live wires, and sets the place (and later the town) ablaze while broadcasting telepathically that she is responsible. Narration describes her smiling as she looks back at the trapped students and continuing the destruction after “realizing what she has done” and her sanity breaks.
She shows complex leftover attachment only to her mother (she still goes home seeking comfort before Margaret stabs her and Carrie stops her heart). There is no textual evidence of special mourning or guilt over Tommy that is absent for the rest. The dying telepathic connection with Sue Snell is about clearing Sue of blame and shared pain, not a catalogue of regret for the body count. The idea that Tommy was the singular exception she truly felt bad about is largely an invention of the film adaptations (especially the 2013 version, where she visibly mourns him and that specifically ignites the rampage). In the book, once the switch flips, the distinction collapses into pure, indiscriminate rage.
Was Tom's death the only killing Carrie actually felt any real remorse for? #carrie

Much of the room wants it to be 2016 again, but it's not. Our job, as the provider of tools and technology to much of the industry, is to design for the present that is and the future that will soon be. Personally I'm optimisic about it and see it as empowering for creators.

In the book, The Hellbound Heart, this is almost literally Frank's reaction when he realizes he's about to get graped by pierced eldritch liches with no sense of sensation for all eternity.
I had a Thought:
Had the protagonist of Carrie (novel) been male, it would have been banned across the country for inciting violence, the same way Rage was. There are so many similarities to the end of Carrie and the way many school shooters have talked about things. /1
But because Carrie was a girl, it was 3 movies and a tv series, because violence in traumatized young girls is "hysteria" and unlikely to be replicated
Even as a 20 years pre Columbine novel, Rage was pulled from print, while Carrie has always been peak horror.
