🚨 THE INSIGHT OF SURVIVAL: Some realizations do not hurt you because of what they reveal, but rather because they make you understand how much easier you could have survived if only you had understood sooner. Driven by this sharp, bittersweet awareness, my family and I refuse to let negligence shape our fate anymore. We actively out-think the destruction before the traps close around us. 📈💔
The architecture of the siege has simply been re-calibrated. The borders have technically opened, but only 20 trucks of food were allowed yesterday and another 20 today. While prices eased slightly from the absolute peak, they remain dangerously inflated compared to two weeks ago. Militarily, the cruelty persists; fighter jets heavily bombarded the Central Area of the Gaza Strip yesterday, while our nights remain a terrifying loop—heavy tanks advance aggressively, pushing the "Yellow Line" deeper into our land, only to retreat by dawn while drone strikes hunt daily.
Yet, my wife, my son Ayman, and my daughter Julia stand unbroken. Every single morning, my priority remains the 17 innocent cats that survived the genocide with us. I fight to buy their critical meals daily from the current market and cover emergency vet costs under our strict First-In, First-Out (FIFO) system, keeping our core strategic reserves completely untouched. But to sustain our family survival stock and replace what is consumed, we urgently need a serious stand from you today. Your direct support via PayPal (paypal.me/animalrescue703) is our final vital anchor before the next shutdown. Retweet, share, or stand with us. 🙏⏳

🚨 THE THEATER OF BLOOD & ELECTIONS: The ballot boxes have closed, and the votes are being counted, but on the ground in North Gaza, nothing changes. The two-day opening of the border was a cruel political game; today, it is tightly sealed again, keeping prices ridiculously inflated. No matter who wins their election, both sides are bad for us. The future after this vote promises an even harsher reality, but my family and I refuse to bend to their political propaganda. 📉💔
Last night was pure terror. A massive swarm of quadcopter drones invaded our neighborhood, hunting and firing at anything that moved while heavy tanks advanced, pushing the "Yellow Line" further to occupy more of our land. I spent the night working at the hospital, enduring the influx of dozens of wounded civilians and at least 3 martyrs. When I finally rushed home at dawn, my very first instinct was to check on our 17 innocent cats, providing them with food and clean water. They are safe for now, but the net is tightening fast.
Our tactical defense is active. I am fiercely preserving our 13 bags of flour (25kg each) and core cat food reserve as our ultimate fallback, rationing under our strict First-In, First-Out (FIFO) system, and fighting to buy their needs daily from what remains in the market. But with a 4x to 5x inflated market, my human family is unprotected. My children, Julia and Ayman, and my wife desperately need a serious stand from you today before the shelves completely empty. Please stand with my family's survival strategy and support us through our direct PayPal: paypal.me/animalrescue703 —our absolute last anchor for daily care and emergency protection. 🙏⏳

You have cried for them. Now, please smile with them. ❤️
Lucky Star and Lucky Moon have both known lives no animal should ever have to endure. Their bodies still carry the evidence.
But suffering should not be the only story we tell about rescued animals.
Today, let’s pause the sadness and watch two broken souls being horses again — eating, arguing, flirting, getting annoyed with each other… and then standing miserably on opposite sides of the fence when we separated them. 😂❤️
Lucky Moon is currently in heat, so their first introduction became a little more “romantic” than planned! For her safety, they are temporarily separated and will be reunited once her cycle ends.
After everything they have survived, these moments are precious.
Rescue is not only about saving a life. It is about giving that life something worth living for.
If their stories brought tears to your eyes, today please smile for Lucky Star & Lucky Moon. ⭐🌙
And please help us continue giving broken animals their second chance. ❤️

💔 IN MEMORY OF JESSE ADAMS — A TRUE HERO FOR ANIMALS 💔
It is with enormous sadness that we have learned of the tragic death of Jesse Adams, founder of RainCoast Dog Rescue Society in Canada, who lost his life while carrying out an animal rescue mission in one of the most dangerous areas of Ukraine.
Jesse dedicated his life to saving animals, even when it meant putting his own life at risk.
We first came to know Jesse in 2021, when Afghanistan fell to the Taliban. Jesse and RainCoast were among the extraordinary organisations that came together to assist KSAR with the evacuation of 285 cats and dogs, helping many find loving forever homes.
Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Jesse travelled to the border to help fleeing families and their pets, providing veterinary care, supplies and assistance getting animals to safety.
He returned repeatedly, undertaking increasingly dangerous missions.
Most recently, Jesse worked alongside Animal Rescue Kharkiv, rescuing hundreds of animals from devastated frontline communities under constant threat from drones, missiles and artillery.
These were extraordinary acts of compassion and courage in the face of unimaginable danger.
Jesse knew the risks. He knew every mission could be his last. Yet he continued because he believed animals caught in conflict deserved protection just as much as those living in peace.
Those of us working in animal rescue in conflict zones understand and accept these risks. But few possess the courage to repeatedly travel towards danger when everyone else is trying to escape it.
Jesse was one of those very special people.
His death is a devastating loss to his family, friends, RainCoast and the international animal rescue community.
Our hearts go out to everyone who knew and loved him, particularly the Ukrainian rescuers who worked alongside him.
His legacy lives on in every animal he saved and every rescuer he inspired.
Rest in peace, Jesse. The world has lost an extraordinary human being, and the animals have lost a true champion. 🐾💔
With love and deepest respect,
Louise and everyone at War Paws

THIS is what your donations are becoming. ❤️
Old tyres turned into strong, long-lasting dog beds.
Quick-drying fleece bought by the roll.
Blankets stitched locally by hand.
Then fitted straight into the beds for the animals who will need them through the cold nights ahead.
We are trying to stretch every donation as far as possible — buy smart, make locally, waste less, help more animals.
Winter is already here at night, and we still have a long way to go before this huge shelter is warm enough for everyone.
A huge THANK YOU to every person helping us prepare. ❤️
Please keep supporting and SHARING — we still need many more beds, blankets and winter supplies.
