The scale of this fraud against the people of Ontario is mind-boggling.
Seven private career colleges, fake schools filled with thousands of foreign "students," received the same amount of OSAP funding through grant payments as all public colleges in Ontario combined.
Real Ontario students, young Canadians, who are supposed to receive financial support to learn and study at legitimate colleges and universities, were undercut by a fraud scheme that redirected hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars back into these fake schools.
It's enough to make you sick.

I was born and raised in communist Czechoslovakia.
I witnessed the Velvet Revolution in 1989 and the peaceful split of Czechoslovakia in 1993.
I immigrated to Canada in 1997 with my two young children.
I came for FREEDOM, PEACE and OPPORTUNITY.
I worked hard, built a successful career as a professional engineer, paid my taxes and contributed to this country. I was proud to become Canadian.
Today, I barely recognize the country I chose almost 30 years ago.

My barber who's a refugee from Lebanon just went on vacation to Lebanon.
He says everyone is happier in Lebanon and life is great there. Says no one in Canada is happy or in a good mood. He also said that everyone is free in Lebanon...there is freedom. If you want to grow goats and sells them, then you do. If you want to milk a cow and sell the milk, then you do. If you want to sell your chicken's eggs, then you do. And property is cheap, most people can get a home and a small amount of land, even in town, to grow things to sell.
Meanwhile in Canada you can go to prison for drinking milk the wrong way in the morning.

A 17-year-old British girl went Christmas shopping in Bristol. She was groomed, taken by taxi to a house, plied with alcohol, and raped over several hours by four Afghan nationals.
Today they were sentenced to 36 years between them. Three of them fled the country in the back of a lorry. She can no longer leave her home alone.
That is not an abstract policy failure. It is a young life broken, in a city she should have been free to walk through.
A government that cannot control who enters this country cannot protect the people already here. Women and girls should not have to carry the cost of that failure.
I want the day when that duty is taken seriously again. When those who commit crimes like this are removed, not accommodated.
When a girl can go shopping in her own city and come home safe.
That is not cruelty. It is the first duty of any government worth the name.

This morning I grabbed a ribeye steak breakfast with a black coffee, no woke oat milk or almond milk.
While enjoying my meal, I overheard an entire table of at least six college educated women in the workforce having a conversation about VP Vance and the upcoming midterm election.
One of them had the Vice President's recent NBC interview pulled up on her phone. “Did you see him? That beard is such a glow up. He looks handsome and very commanding." The others leaned in. Heads nodding.
Then the policy talk started. They liked what he said about putting money in the hands of families with stay at home moms instead of shipping it off to fraud laden Somali run daycares.
One of the more highly educated and successful ladies asked, “Why are we funding Somali daycares when a stay at home mom with her own kids would do a better job and actually benefit American society?"
The table went quiet for a second.
Then the confessions rolled out.
“I was wrong about JD.”
“We all were.”
“I let the fake news and Tim Walz do my thinking last election. Never again.”
All 6 ladies agreed they would be voting Republican up and down the ballot this November.
I sipped my coffee and smiled. College degrees. Careers. And they finally saw through the script.
