It's clear that the climate for artists in 2026 is abysmal and we need to collectively reconfigure how we treat each other. Most interaction on here is too muddled with reaction-baiters, novice artists, and bystanders with opinions. This results in unproductive semantic arguments

I'll just say it: if you think $4.5k/80 hrs for experienced work is too much, then dog-pile me too because:
- I started making about that much in 2017 & have made more since 2019
- I've made up to $7k/2 wks i.e. 80 hrs in the past
- right now I make over $5k/2 wks before bonuses
this person is saying artists shouldn’t complain if they can’t sell commissions for pricing too high
