Chengdu appreciation post! The event was so goated, the players were all so nice, the city is great and the food is heavenly. China, I will be back. With a vengeance. Also, me when I think about turn 1 Faefolk.

Delayed matchup thread for Chengdu because getting wifi here has proven a task. R1: 0-2 vs Akali. Faced the best of Akali from Wuhan, which was pretty cool! Heron on curve remains a tough thing to deal with. Got close to closing out both matches but luck was not on my side. 0-1

R6: 1-2 vs Rek’Sai. Tough matchup. Losing die roll game 1 and then getting my t1 and t2 Falling Starred + Culled is a death sentence. Game 2 was the Faefolk show. Game 3 was close but too many answers to my development. That ends the run. Will share my thoughts on Kha soon! 3-2-1

R5: 2-0 vs Akali. Had better draws, but mainly my opponent was playing more aggro which you can definitely not do. Heron decks win the late game against Kha, so they really need to be patient. Was a much easier match than r1. 3-1-1

R4: 2-0 vs Yi. Hard match but ended on top in both games. The endgame is always very tricky and with worse luck I could lose. 2-1-1

R3: 2-0 vs XP Yi. My opponent was so nice, his deck less so towards him. Nothing much to add. Grim Resolve did me solid here. 1-1-1

R2: 1-1 vs Ezreal. Pack Ezreal continues to haunt me even after Stacked Deck ban. I don’t know why but it’s lowkey filled with Ezreals here… Not a great start, gotta win out from here. 0-1-1

They were sold out in literally 2 hours… damn. I’m checking stock again probably tomorrow (so maybe a couple more get added) and then it’s waiting for a big restock where I will switch colors of damage and might reduction

Had a real internal struggle whether I should repost a Jayce Guide but the players behind the guide are awesome. So if you like Jayce and would like to improve, buy their guide and let me know you bought it so I can block you <3
