For the gaming community, Bluesky is great for celebrating and talking about what you enjoy. People complain all the time that you can’t express joy on Twitter because every reply will shit on you.
Bluesky is the alternative to that if you just want to talk about things you like
Not one word of this refute the “recent article” from Bloomberg btw.
You may have seen a recent article that mentions KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS, speculating on the reasons for the change in publishing partners for PHYSINT.
Normally, we would not comment on unsubstantiated speculation on the internet, but these aspersions around our relationship with PlayStation, the commercial performance of the DEATH STRANDING franchise, and the broader production planning and investment for PHYSINT, have reached beyond the studio and have touched our fans, our creative partners, and colleagues we have worked alongside with for three decades.
None of the claims written came from any official or on-the-record source and as such we encourage you to take them with a dose of scepticism.
Make no mistake, this was a serious situation for the studio with a range of potentially significant implications. While we recognise that the article may have caused alarm, we want to reassure you all, for the record: that the studio is in a healthy, profitable state, development for PHYSINT continues to move forward with XBOX, and our relationship with PlayStation remains strong.
Thank you for your continued support,
KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS

Maybe I was in a weird mood when I played it, but Super Metroid is my least favorite of the 2D entries I’ve played. Although, I’ve only played Zero Mission and Fusion, otherwise.
Maybe a replay is in order.
It is impossible for a big game to get a 99 on Metacritic today.
There are way too many outlets that count now. And you’re always going to have a wide array of opinions, along with a few detractors trying to be different for clicks.
Now that a couple days time has passed, I think this art direction is phenomenal.
Ocarina of Time Remake literally looks like a fairy tale come to life. It’s perfect.
Adventure through Hyrule and become the Hero of Time when The Legend of #Zelda: Ocarina of Time releases Nov 5 on Nintendo Switch 2. #NintendoDirect

Physint is a shock. You don’t sign a Kojima game for the profit margin. It’s a credibility play. Strong win for Xbox
I don’t have any interest in this type of game.
HOWEVER, I think this actually looks kinda good???
And XBOX thinks Cloud Gaming is the future???
Microsoft switches to monthly hour limits in big changes to Xbox Cloud Gaming, cites rising cloud costs:
▪️Game Pass Ultimate: 15 hours
▪️Game Pass Premium: 10 hours
▪️Game Pass Essential: 5 hours
Once subscribers use up their hours, they can buy additional cloud playtime through the Xbox Store

That State of Play kinda sucked. I miss when game showcases weren’t 50% updates and DLCs to games already released.
One of my favorite boss fights of all-time.
The immediate *wtf* of it all. The music. The rhythmic dance you perform in the battle. The end reveal.
Perfect.
The critiques I’ve read seem to (mostly) be the same as The Witcher 3.
A bit janky and combat is a mixed bag. Additionally, Dawnwalker seems to lack enemy variety.
I think I’ll get it as I’m itching for something new, despite thinking The Witcher 3 was just good not great.
Chadley sucks and is annoying, but I really don’t think his presence ever hindered Remake or Rebirth in any meaningful way.
Him getting a “more central role” could do that, though.
Naoki Hamaguchi says Chadley plays a different, more central role in Final Fantasy VII Revelation:
"In the previous game, in Rebirth, his role was kind of a guide to lead people into all of the side content, but his role has changed for Revelation.
We do have some scenes where he plays a very integral part, a strong role, in the main story itself. I can't tell you right now if he becomes more powerful than Sephiroth or not, but you'll have to see in the game."
